A stay worth repeating

This property was an ideal place to stay being perfectly located for key areas of the island. Using bikes rather than the hire car all the time we were about to get to great restaurants (you just have to try the Sandbar) and other amenities. Located literally a 5 minute walk from the beach, the accommodation was nicely decorated having all the usual things like AC and a pool and a great outside covered area where you can watch TV if you have a rain storm. I liked this place so much I’m already booking it for next year and I haven’t left yet.

Good spot for small family

2nd stay at Ocean’s 77. Proximity to beach is great, as is outdoor living area and pool. Kitchen needs to be replenished with additional cookware, bowls, etc. Had a couple of problems with the pool and grill while there but the management company addressed those VERY promptly!

Wonderful home in walking distance to beach!

Thank you for a wonderful stay on the beautiful AMI!!! The home was perfect for my family of four. The provided beach wagon and chairs were great for the short walk to the beautiful beach!! Although the cooler did not have a working zipper it still kept our drinks cold for our days at the beach (definitely not a complaint - just didn’t know if the owner was aware). We enjoyed the pool and outdoor tv area every day after our adventures and beach days on the island!! Thank you again and we would definitely rent this home again if the four of us were to return again!

Perfect location, easy walk to ocean!

Great house, very clean and nice staff! Dishwasher hard to use due to table in the way. the upstairs living area couch and tv to as not a great fit. Tv was very high on the wall with the couch under it and 4 people cannot fit comfortably. But other than that everything was perfect! Well equipped kitchen and layout of the extra space in garage was perfect to keep sandy stuff! Overall nice time.

Need new bedding

The property itself was good. It was nice to have a pool for the kids. The beds were very uncomfortable. Pillows were awful. Whoever owns/manages this property needs to invest in nicer bedding please!!! Kitchen needs more utensils and not the plastic kind. Would be nice to have new shades in the living area as the old ones are broken. It would also be nice to have lamps on the night stands. The location of the property and the island itself is great.

Overall, we loved this property! It was very conveniently located and in a quiet location. There was an issue with constant gnats or fleas in the kitchen area by the sink. We noticed this as we arrived. We killed them but they came back several times daily. We planned on grilling one night only to find out the grill did not work/light and the burners were quite rusted out inside which may have been the reason. The house came with beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, and a wagon to transport everything which was also very helpful.

Nice but needs improvement

On the positive side, the property was generally pretty clean, except for the mold coming out of one of the shower heads. The location near the beach was nice. But this is not a 5 star property. We gave it 4 stars, which is generous. The knife block had NO steak knives, and we were planning on grilling steaks. The pots and pans were of poor quality to begin with and were worn out. The outdoor grill was in terrible shape. Only 3 of the 4 burners worked and the part below the grates was completely rusted out. We specifically asked about the grill before our visit since a prior guest had complained about it, and we were told that the grill had been replaced (this in the last few months). That clearly was not true. We told the property manager about all this, They did bring a new knife block set the next day. They asked what else they could do to make our stay more enjoyable and we responded: "We're open to suggestions." Nothing further was offered. The living room area is a little cramped and essentially joins the kitchen. However, the bed in the larger bedroom was comfortable. The towels were of cheap quality. We received probably 5 separate texts asking for a 5 star review. A couple of those came after our honest response to the property owner telling them that this was not a 5 star property. The automated messages clearly were not syncing with the guest comments. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would not book again.

Great house! Great location, cleaning services and mattresses need improvement

Fun vacation! House was in need of a serious cleaning, dusting, vacuuming when we got there. Beds are squeaky and need to be replaced. The location and house amenities are fantastic!! Would stay here again if beds were replaced and cleaning service was improved

Great location

Overall a very comfortable and ideally located house. Within steps to a wonderful beach. Cute decor but needed a little bit more effort on the cleaning side. Pool was not very clean when we arrived but the water was warm and the pool area was very comfortable and private.

Winter vacation

The location of this property was perfect for our first time on Anna Maria Island. It was convenient to explore north and south of beautiful Holmes beach! We found the house very clean, comfortable and a well stocked kitchen. A short walk to a beautiful beach!

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

This house was super close to the beach, the pool was perfect and, even though it was a duplex having height right next door was never an issue. We loved this house and plan to use it in the future anytime we come down as a family.

Perfect!

We stayed at Oceans 77 as a last minute getaway. Property is very nice and well maintained. Just enough space for our family of 5. Close walk to the beach. The managing company was wonderful and was there in an instant when we couldn't get the key pad to work on the door. Very great vacation, Anna Maria Island is perfect for a quiet time away. Only suggestion would be to add some kitchen hand towels.
