STARFISH Shack is a renovated family and pet friendly Bay and Pool side condo with great views overlooking the bay and the beach. You can enjoy Gorgeous Sunrises and Glorious Sunsets from the TWO covered patios in the unit. This condo is few steps from Sunset Pool, Lazy River, and Hot Tub. The condo features a modern and fully equipped kitchen, high speed WIFI, Cable TV and flat screen TVs in rooms. The open floor plan WELCOMES you to spend time TOGETHER and to build MEMORIES for LIFETIME. Beach and Pointe West Beach Club are short drive by car or golf cart. The beaches are closed to vehicular traffic and are the cleanest and widest family friendly beaches on the island. Access to wade fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and crabbing is nearby. Starfish Shack is the perfect setting for your next family vacation or a romantic couples’ getaway.
Accommodations:
LIVING AREA - The living room has an incredibly comfortable sectional that you and your family will enjoy as you unwind after a day at the beach. There is room here for everyone to lounge together. From the living area you can access the bayside patio overlooking the Bay, Sunset Pool, Lazy River, and Hot Tub. You can sit here and watch your kids play in the pool or float in the lazy river. In the morning, you can sit and sip morning coffee overlooking the water or in the late afternoon and evening you can sit, relax, and enjoy a beverage of your liking while watching gorgeous sunsets with your family.
KITCHEN – The state-of-the-art modern kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with all the appliances and amenities that you need to make wonderful breakfasts, lunches and dinners for you and your family. The dining area features an 6-person dining table—perfect for group feasts. From the dining area you can access the beachside patio to view glorious sunrises. The views from the open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room combination are fantastic in every direction.
BEDROOMs:
Master bedroom has views of the Bay and the Sunset pool. Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a remodeled bathroom with new lights, double vanities, quartz countertops, glass backsplash, and a LARGE walk-in shower with 2 shower heads to fully wash away all your cares.
Second bedroom has a queen bed that you can wake you up to a view of sunrise and the sea. The remodeled bath has new lights, new countertop, and combination shower and tub.
Third bedroom has 2 kid friendly bunkbeds to sleep 4. One bunk bed is twin over twin, the other is full over full. A sleeper sofa is available in the living area that can accommodate 2. Third remodeled bathroom which is accessible from common area has a new vanity, new quartz countertop, new barn door, with a combination shower and tub.
Amenities:
Within a few steps of the Condo is The Sunset pool, with a lazy river and pool, shallow area for the little ones, hot tub, fire pit, and grills, Relax and float around the lazy river listening to music and spending time with your loved ones.
In case the weather does not cooperate, the dining table can be easily used as a game table for board games, poker, bridge, chess, etc.. Free high speed wifi is also available just in case work does not allow you to escape as you planned. Full size washer and dryer.
Appliances include a mixer, blender, toaster, skillets, Keurig K-Cafe Latte & Cappuccino Maker, a microwave, crock-pot, Ice cream maker, Instant Pot, double door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, and electric range and oven, full size washer and dryer. Other items in kitchen includes baking trays, skillets, Tupperware, Electric can opener, Common spices, Sugar, Coffee, teas, creamer, foils, wraps, bags, cleaning supplies stocked for your use.

You are only 25 minutes from all that Galveston has to offer including Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier boardwalk, The Strand, and all other great attractions of the island.
Pointe West is a resort community on the far western tip of Galveston Island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, fitness center, game room, The Pointe Restaurant & Bar, Sommer’s Gifs, gas grills, cabanas that are available to rent, and private access to the beach. There is miles of green space and trails for biking, jogging and just enjoying nature. You cannot go wrong with this outstanding family-friendly beach retreat. The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. To access all amenities at Pointe West, Beach club wristbands are required, these are available for $25 per guest (up to 9 guests) over 3-years-old. These wristbands can be paid for and picked up at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours(9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). At the beach club front desk, person with the amenity reservation may pick up the amenity wristbands.
*Please note this home's elevator is sometimes, although rarely, out of service and hence the property may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with limited mobility. in case the elevator is not working, two flight of stairs are needed for accessing our property.
There is a Pet (Dog) Fee with prior approval. Only one dog (less than 50 lbs) is permitted. We prefer that dog be in a crate if you are not present with them. A medium size Crate is available for use.
Any guest staying over 7 days is offered a 10% discount on the rent!
