We deeply enjoyed our stay at the river house! The views are stunning and the property felt tranquil and refreshing. Tom and Sharon were responsive hosts and you could feel the thought and care they put into making sure guests have everything they could want and need. For any guests with mobility concerns: just note that the kitchen, dining room, and entrance to the deck are downstairs and the rest of the rooms are upstairs. Thank you so much and we will be back!

The home was absolutely lovely with stunning views. It was the perfect spot for us with our daughter getting married at a nearby location. The communications with Thomas, the host, were terrific.

Incredible place

This house is perfect. I’m originally fromPhiladelphia, but live in the Pittsburgh area now and the location for the house is perfect for visiting center city or getting away from the city life. Will definitely be inquiring about staying here next year as well.

This property is in an incredible spot and the hosts are really great. It is however truly under construction and needs a few things. The good: The beds are comfortable, the view is beautiful, the AC works, it's clean and safe and situated among lovely houses. The tricky: it's in quite a state.

Beautiful house on the river with plenty of space and many seating areas indoors and outdoors with great views for the sunrise and sunset and great upgraded bathrooms. Sharon and Rachel were super accommodating hosts during the check-in process and fantastic to speak with about property insights and we would recommend this place to others visiting Bensalem. Relaxing place to stay

The property was set up very nice for a small group. The neighborhood was peaceful. The property was spacious and had a nice outdoor sitting area to enjoy the grounds around it. I would recommend stopping at the Broken Goblet Brewery just right down the road. Close to restaurants and easy to get to Philli.

Beautiful riverside location, close to Broken Goblet

Beautiful river views from the dining room and sitting room. Clean place, comfy beds, close to our destination. Great stay overall. A couple in my group had a hard time finding the right driveway, but the goat was very quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Will look to book again for this event next year. Thanks.

Amazing views!

I spent one night at this lovely home on the river with my husband, and wow, the views!! We visited in January, so much of the river was frozen, and it was fascinating watching the ice break up and flow. Everything was clean and comfortable. We hope to come again with our daughters!

This house and its surroundings are absolutely stunning. I booked the house as the “getting ready” location for my wedding day and it was absolutely perfect. The house itself has 2 levels with 2 living spaces which worked out so well. Definitely enough space for everyone to move around comfortable. A great plus was that my sisters and I were able to stay over the night before which saved on hotel costs. The deck was beautiful in the morning during the sunrise. I would totally stay again for a girls night! Highly recommend:)

Idyllic setting!

The River house was such a beautiful setting! Made you feel you were very secluded yet so close to everything. Tom and Sharon were super hosts! Quick to respond and very caring of their guests. Our grandchildren loved being able to run around and skip rocks on the water. Would love to read the history of the house and the surroundings!

The Perfect Getaway !

Our stay could not have been more perfect! The house and the River were even more beautiful in person. The host were great with communication and very welcoming! Very accommodating. I would recommend renting for a family with children, a small friends group or even time away with a partner.

House with serene river views

The house is at the edge of the Delaware river and has great views of the river from the living room on the ground floor and the dining area on the lower floor. The hosts, Tom and Sharon, were very generous and gracious. We enjoyed viewing the abundant birds in the area.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property on the lake. Please note*** if privacy is a concern...during our visit there were no window treatments on any of the windows throughout the property except the master bedroom that had sheer, tie-back panels.

Thank you for your note Shanda. Given the seclusion of the home and the desire to maximize the views of the river the home is built over we have not put window treatments in the front of the house. Great View

The view here is fantastic. It was 100 while we were there so we did our river watching from inside, so I can’t say much about the deck but you have 2 inside levels to pick from if you want to watch the river. Both bathrooms have been recently updated and are very nice. The washer and dryer were out of service when we were there but Tom definitely made it right with us. Such a beautiful location, and we all enjoyed watching the river.
