Ideally located on esteemed Aquidneck Island. One acre of pastoral private land. This three bedroom home offers a peaceful retreat with abundant natural light. Enjoy the panoramic water view of sailboats, Hog Island Shoal Lighthouse, and Mount Hope Bridge from the sizable deck. The large home offers comfortable elegance with modern conveniences. There are several cozy common spaces to dine, socialize, and unwind. The house sleeps 6 guests. There are three bedrooms and two full baths in the main house. There is also an optional secluded one room space with a wet bar, bathroom, and private entrance. The entire home has been recently renovated.
Enjoy the rich culture and history of the area. The nautical beauty of the surrounding area is a playground for nature lovers. Year-round outdoor recreation includes water activities, biking, nature tours, and golfing . There are many local wineries and breweries, orchards, and farms.
This home is just a few minutes drive from Bristol town center and just one mile from Roger William University. Bristol boasts many restaurants featuring live music, parks, boutique shops, and antique stores. Stroll, jog or bike on the scenic rail trail along Narragansett Bay. Also, Colt State Park is a beautiful oasis. Bristol is home to the oldest 4th of July Parade in America. Celebrate the festivities including the 2 week concert series, carnival, and fireworks.
We have hosted numerous brides for Linden Place, Blithewold, Herreshoff, Bristol Harbor, Glen Manor. We also can connect you with a Massuese for onsite enjoyment.

Came here for a Bach party and it was beyond my expectations, the kitchen was gorgeous and very open, there were also drinks and other snacks and seasonings in the kitchen which was very convenient. The bedrooms were very comfortable and even had extra blankets and pillows and the backyard with the deck was perfect too wine down and relax. Very welcoming and overall an amazing experience!

Such an amazing home!

The house and property managers were amazing! They responded quickly to my questions, and the check-in and check-out process was straightforward. The house was well stocked with necessities-- pots, pans, toilet paper, towels, and blankets! The tea and coffee drawers were to die for, and the kitchen, I wish I could take home with me. Perfect spot for our getaway

We had a wonderful experience renting here. The space is beautiful and well cared for, and the hosts were incredibly thorough with their instructions and guidance. Lots of little touches (books, cozy blankets, game room to name a few) made us feel right at home. We would absolutely come back.

Perfect!

The house was incredible along with the experience working with the owners. They provided great support, communication, and instructions for our stay. The property itself is simply perfect and includes everything you need to enjoy you time in the area. The location is great with nice access to Newport, New Bedford (ferry to Martha’s Vineyard), and Boston. We will stay here again if ever back in the area.

The property was organized and spotless.. the check.in and check-out process was easy. The AC was a bit loud because they were portable units but we just turned it to fan at night and it was fine.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location

This lovely 1920's cottage has been updated for comfort and convenience with a beautiful, functional, and well-supplied kitchen, pleasant bathrooms with excellent water pressure, and comfortable bedrooms with wonderful views. The proximity to Newport and the polo grounds, beaches, and many good restaurants is counterbalanced by the privacy and tranquility of the property itself. We also thoroughly enjoyed the foosball table. Thank you again for the stay.

Comfy cozy under the Mt. Hope Bridge

We spent a week in Portsmouth & our weather wasn't great so we so appreciated the well appointed kitchen, amazingly comfortable couches and plenty of space to stretch out including a game room and beautiful water view! The hosts provided an amazing area overview which was so helpful and we visited several of the restaurants & activities they suggested. The house was exactly as pictured, spotless & had everything we needed.

The history of this property was just amazing and then to see how beautiful and updated the inside is was amazing. The owners went above and beyond. Lovely House, Wonderful Weekend

We stayed in this beautiful house for Roger Williams Parents weekend so our kids could have a place to visit and get off campus. We all loved it! It’s a great mix of old house charm and modern updates that are so well done. We lacked nothing in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and deck. We could not have asked for more and enjoyed our weekend so much. Thank you!!

Very Impressive!

We were all so happy with this beautiful home. The space and amenities were perfect for the 4 of us. The back of the house faces West with nice partial views of the water. Very beautiful. Plan your evenings so you will be on the balcony for the incredible sunsets! They even had a small downstairs game room in case you fancy a game of darts or foosball. Great location too. About 20 minutes to Newport. We would gladly stay there again!

Cozy, Coastal, Classy & Charming

So welcoming the minute we opened the door! A classic older home with plenty of charm yet renovated with all the modern conveniences! Plenty of seating for 5+ whether for eating, relaxing or enjoying the deck & water views! Did I mention the sunsets!? Well-appointed kitchen & we loved all the nautical & whale decor. Stephanie was quick to respond to our inquiries, the notes about the property & things to do in the area were detailed & helpful. Conveniently located to Bristol & Portsmouth & a short drive to Newport, there wasn't a lack of things to do. If you are planning a trip to RI, stay here!

Location, sunsets and tastefully decorated home

The property was perfect for three friends exploring Rhode Island. The home in Portsmouth is centrally located so we were able to reach all of our day trip destinations in less than an hour. Honestly, most were about 30 minutes away. Access to restaurants and provisions for the kitchen were also close by and ample. The fabulous kitchen and sunsets on the deck were made extra special with a great gas fire pit and grill. My friends and I have rented many homes for our trips and we agreed that this home and location truly exceeded expectations. Stephanie is a great host and super responsive .

Exceptional Dream House!

We had a wonderful trip! This is by far the best VRBO property that we have ever rented. It is a beautiful, renovated, tastefully decorated house with beach vibe. Everything about the house was amazing and just what you'd want in a dream house. The newly renovated, well equipped, kitchen was amazing with a huge center island, new appliances and beautiful lighting. The sofas in the living room are the most comfortable sofas I have ever sat in and I want to buy some just like them. The lighting throughout the house was stunning as was the artwork. The house was spotlessly clean and the Stephanie and Jeff are great hosts. Our family loved this home. My son said "terrific views from the porch, a very open-concept interior with perfect nautical decor: what more could you ask for?" The house is spacious and roomy, very clean, and a dreamy place in which to hang out, cook, and sleep. I floated from room to room, taking pictures of everything. We spent three night and were sorry we had to leave.

Incredible Views and a Great Experience!

We loved this property. It is private, spacious, peaceful, and has plenty of parking and rec space. We chose it for the views and amenities and it exceeded our expectations. This was like staying at a friend’s house as the hosts provided everything we could possibly need and so many wonderful extras (coffee, beach stuff, games, quality linens and towels). The house is beautifully decorated with spacious areas for relaxing, eating, and playing. The house is well air conditioned which was much appreciated as our weather and humidity topped 90+. Internet and phone service was perfect for all 6 of us with our many devices. The new, clean, and shiny kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cookware, serve ware, storage containers, additional appliances, and a great refrigerator with filtered water. The bedrooms are spacious as well, with closet space, and comfy beds & pillows. The showers have great water pressure 😊 The back deck is a comfortable place to view the spectacular sunsets, bay, and boats. There’s a grill and a fire pit. The lower level is a game room with games, puzzles, darts, and foosball. There’s a small pond on the property with resident fish that we enjoyed watching and feeding. The very attentive hosts provided a detailed welcome package with foolproof instructions and diagrams for the house. It also included loads of information about things to do, see, and places to eat in the area with their personal recommendations. A+5⭐️Highly Recommend!

We found the house extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was modern and well equipped as were the bathrooms and bedrooms.
