Carriage House Cabin #1 - Near Three Rivers

Enjoy peace & seclusion at Carriage House Cabin #1. Located within a 15 min drive of The Kokosing, Mohican, and Mohawk Rivers conjunction. This private property consists of 5 wooded acres/trails, Carriage House Cabin #2, and shared pavilion. Knox and Coshocton counties provide many indoor and outdoor adventures inside and outside of the immediate area. Go on an adventure or stay in and relax. The cabin is the perfect getaway for those traveling with a large family and/or group of friends.

Carriage House Cabin #1 is approximately a couple hundred feet from Carriage House Cabin #2 on a shared gravel driveway with separate parking areas for both cabins. If you read our cabin reviews, privacy is never a concern. Carriage House Cabin #1 is very private and has three levels. The top level includes two bedrooms (queen bed and double bed), a large full bath with separate shower/jacuzzi tub, and a loft area with TV and sitting area/futon (double bed). The main level consists of a large seating area with TV, large kitchen table/chairs, fully equipped kitchen, half bath, and outdoor upper deck with seating area and propane grill. The lower level consists of two bedrooms (queen beds), a seating area/futon (double bed), a seated bar, a bar table/chairs, and a full bath (shower). Walk right out of the lower level to access the private lower patio, lower patio table/chairs, private covered hot tub, private fire pit/wood crib/picnic table (30 pieces of wood provided per stay), pavilion (a short walk away), wooded walking trail around the property, and backyard/woods (complete with horseshoe pits). We are pleased to announce as part of the federal rural development grant we now of 300mb optical cable internet/wifi. Way more than needed for streaming, connecting all of your devices, or work applications.

Great winter break getaway!

We stayed for 2 nights right after Christmas with our two kids and another family. The cottage was very clean and had plenty of space for 4 adults and 6 kids. We really appreciated how well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies the cabin was. The hot tub was very clean. We had a great time!

Great Friends Weekend!

My husband, myself, and two other couples stayed for the weekend in this beautiful home. The house is exactly as it looks from the pictures. We were all very comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to rent this home again.

Long Week Getaway

We stayed at both of the Carriage House for our 25th annual golf trip, renting out both properties. The location was quiet, secluded, and a great property for a large group (if you rent both places). The back porches and fire pits were great places for us to congregate! We had 13 in total and both of the properties fit our needs wonderfully. The picnic area came in handy for outdoor dinners, as well as the grills on both locations. The rooms were quiet and comfortable and the houses were kept in fantastic shape. The owners were communicative in helping out with any issues that we had while we were there. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Holiday Weekend

My family and I rented the two carriage houses for the holiday weekend. The owners were very clear and helpful in their communications. The property is nestled in a wooded area and was great for the kids to explore. Lots of hiking and campfires. The bathrooms were very clean and multiple levels were perfect to accommodate everyone. The only suggestion which is not a big deal at all, would be to have a washer and dryer on site. Overall, the properties met our needs and provided a clean and inviting space for our big family to be together. I was very appreciative when the owner had reached out to let us know of a forgotten item left behind and were so helpful in having it mailed to us that week. It was a fantastic experience to bring in the new year. We will visit again!!

The perfect get away!

My husband and I started taking our children to a Fall Weekend Get away when they were toddlers. We've continued this tradition in the hopes that they, now as married adults, would still want to spend time with us. They all do the best they can and this cabin suited our needs perfectly as they came and went. The kitchen area was nice to work in and the living space was very open. There was plenty of room! The hot tub was under cover so when it rained, it could still be enjoyed. We made some very fond memories this weekend. And, little did we know but we lost our keys there. If it weren't for Dean texting me a picture of the keys, I would never have thought we lost them there. Dean graciously offered to mail them to our home. They were amazing.

Dean, Denise, and Matt started acquiring and working on commercial and residential properties in 2021. We know own 4 vacation rentals in Knox County, 1 commercial building, and two permanent rentals. Dean and Denise have lived in Knox County since 2008, and in Ohio most of their lives. Matt has lived in Ohio all of his life. We have done and continue to do much of the work ourselves to get our properties ready for our guests and/or tenants, which can take a very long time as we are not about shortcuts. This allows us to put our own personal touches and love into all of our properties (we are very picky for our brand), and we know this is why we receive so many 5 Star reviews. Denise is our full-time property manager for all properties, our interior/exterior decorator, our lawn service, our snow service, our gardener, our bookkeeper, manages our cleaners/helps clean our properties herself, and an all-around amazingly organized hard working gal. Dean manages the online booking and marketing, and both Matt and Dean do all the heavy construction, heavy lifting, updates and repairs to our properties. We do have contractors that handle work that requires licensed professionals, but anything else within our wheelhouses we try to handle ourselves carefully and with purpose. We all enjoy the outdoors, we are all in love with everything Knox and Coshocton Counties have to offer our guests, and we hope you find the fruits of our labors very enjoyable.
