Great House and Location

I recently stayed here with my family and we really liked it. It is about a minute walk to the beach and the house was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway. The beds were very comfortable which is always hit and miss with rental properties. I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Great stay!

The house was just what we needed! It is very close to the beach with a great view. It is walking distance to several restaurants. The host was very quick to answer questions. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Location

I think everyone in our group enjoyed their stay. The property was close enough so tha my when you needed to beat the heat at the beach, it was a short walk away. I would stay here again.

Spontaneous and amazing weekend in surside

It was easy to book, very fair on price and they were very accommodating with our 2 adult dogs. The house has great views off the front and the back of the house and plenty porches for everyone to enjoy. It was also a huge plus being so close to the main bars and restaurants in town

Great house, easy beach access and quiet neighborhood.

Came for some time alone with my son and we both never wanted to leave. Super cute decorated, tons of supplies for sand to kitchen and a great location. The multiple porches and three swings downstairs were fun also. Most definitely coming back ASAP!

Pleasant stay

Close to beach and property was as listed. However, no ice maker and couldn’t use garbage disposal as they stated it was sensitive.

Beach House

Nice stay and owners are so friendly. Home does need some deep cleaning or organization in kitchen. Board games are a mess, torn up and missing pieces, bring your own games. Homes are super close together, you can hear everything your neighbors are saying and doing, the first two nights there was a family that partied every night and kept us up, one gathering had over 20 people. If you’re not use to the different water source, make sure you get jogs of water for coffee and drinking, the water has a yellow tint to it and smells like sulfa.Whatever you do, don’t leave your chairs and canopy’s on the beach over night, ours got stolen.House works, it’s functional, close to the beach, which is very nice!!

Quick Getaway with Adult Children

What a wonderful extended weekend. Last minute trip for me, my husband and our adult children-- we needed to get away for disconnecting and relaxing. The house was perfect. We had everything we needed at the house and the location was great. Thanks for a much needed getaway!

Prom Girls’ Getaway

It was my daughter’s senior prom and she wanted to host her friends and that’s just what we did! This beach house was the ideal place to get away from it all close to home and have a fun relaxing weekend after the prom festivities were done! Everything was just as described and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We will definitely try to get this place again! Thank you to our amazing hosts!

Excellent Location

The house was in an excellent location. Just a short walk to the beach. There were also toys, wagon, and lawn chairs available for use which the kids really appreciated along with the board games inside. The house had a little wear on the inside from normal aging, but we would gladly stay here again. Everything we needed was waiting at the house for us other than food. My husband loved the grill. Overall 5 star stay!

Family Beach Vaca!

Last minute beach getaway for my family! We have an adult son with a new baby! And our 17 year old son and 6 year old daughter - that all enjoyed our beach house perfectly located to the beach where family pictures took place along with the oldest son proposing to his girlfriend! It was amazing! The view from our balcony was great and relaxing to just sit and drink our morning coffee! 5+ stars

Perfect getaway

First I want to give the house host more than 5 stars. The promptness of communication and her friendliness was outstanding. I truly appreciate that. The house was perfect. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen and toilet paper and towels in the bathrooms. The house was clean. The porch/decks were the best. The proximity to the beach was ideal. We could go down in the morning and then walk back to the house for lunch before heading out again. The beach area wasn’t over crowded at all mid July. Would recommend this house.

PLEASE IMPROVE CLEANING & RID OF THAT NASTY RUSTY CRUMB FILLED OUTDATED TOASTER PLEASE

There was a total of five guests during our stay. Check-in time is 16:00. The first two guests arrived at 15:45 and discovered the cleaning crew was still there. No problem as the check in time was16:00. The cleaners were gone when I arrived at 16:25. The towels in the master bedroom were damp. Bacteria alert ! Once settled, we hit the beach before dark and returned to make dinner. The cabinets were unorganized but we found everything needed. The host's email stated that the septic system was "sensitive" and to not use the garbage disposal. No problem. That is were the trip went south. The dishwasher had dark green &black slimey mold inside the bottom of its door. Not only that there was standing water at the bottom of the dishwasher which smelled like it had been there for a while. So, the dishes that we used for our meal were possibly "cleaned" in that thing? That was a BIOHAZARD!! The only cleaning products found were Lysol Wipes & dishwashing liquid. We resorted to handwashing the cookware & dishes---using a large stock pot to wash and the sink to rinse since it's not a dual sink. The hostess did offer to send maintenance by th next morning but that would have interfered with plans and activities besides that should have been checked before we arrived. Clearly the company hired to maintain the property is not thorough though prior to check in Maria assured sanitization was priority. There is no excusable reason for my family's health to have been jeopardized like that!

I’m truly sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your stay. We take guest experiences very seriously and always strive to maintain a clean and comfortable home. However, I’d like to clarify a few points. Our professional cleaning crew was there until the designated check-in time of 4:00 PM, ensuring the home was properly prepared. You mentioned arriving at 3:45 PM—before check-in—while the cleaners were finishing up. The towels may have been slightly damp from the sanitization process, but they were freshly laundered, not a “bacteria alert.” I have already discussed with my team never to fold even lightly damp towels. Regarding the dishwasher, I sincerely regret that you encountered an issue. However, as you mentioned, I immediately offered to send maintenance the next morning, which you declined. Since your stay, we have replaced the dishwasher entirely with a brand new dishwasher to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for all future guests. We also added a brand-new toaster. However, my inspection after your stay did not find the concerns you expressed. While I respect your right to share feedback, I believe parts of your review are exaggerated and just false. My goal is always to provide a well-maintained and welcoming space, and I encourage future guests to read our other reviews (including on another platform A), which reflect the care and attention we put into this home and hosting. Highly recommend

Highly recommend! We were close to the beach, house had everything we needed for two families. Owner checked in on us and replied right away. I knew if we had a problem the owner would have taken good care of us with promptness. Luckily, we didn’t have any problems.

Great stay!

This was a great stay for me and my family! Sleeping spaces and common spaces were on desperate floors which worked great when our baby needed to nap/sleep and the adults wanted to stay up. The beach is a quick easy walk which again makes it super easy for those with littles. The owner was easy to get in touch with and made check in easy. Would definitely stay here again!

We love traveling and are so excited to be able to host guests in our beautiful beach house. We provide everything you may need for a relaxing stay at the beach. The house is spacious with 2 levels - the top one has all 3 bedrooms and the lower level is for entertainment. We provide beach chairs and a wagon. We also provide the sand toys for the kids and the beach towels. Kitchen has all the amenities to cook your meal. There are also few restaurants within walking distance from our house.

It's a beautiful and quiet area. The house is located almost on the beach - mere 1 minute walk over. You have beautiful views from all four decks of both sunset and sunrise. You can see the Gulf and the bay. We have two master bedrooms (king and queen with en-suite bathroom). We provide all the amenities like at the hotel. We also have a hammock, charcoal grill downstairs and smart TV with various options. Families love staying with us.
