Escape to our rustic lakefront home in Griswold, CT. Our home is on an oversized lot giving you plenty of privacy and space to enjoy the waterfront. Enjoy the beautiful views (the sunsets are particularly spectacular) from multiple outdoor seating areas, the dock, or the 2 firepits. There is also a balcony off of the large king size bedroom. This home rental includes the use of the kayak at no charge.

The house is direct waterfront on Ashland Lake, a ponded section of the Pachaug River in Griswold, CT. You can fish, swim, kayak, canoe, and more in the extremely picturesque waters right off the grassy backyard of our cottage home. Use our kayak or bring your own if you prefer - you can boat right from our personal dock in the backyard.

Although you will want to spend as much time as possible enjoying the water and the views we have gone the extra mile to make all aspects of our waterfront house feel like home.

Inside you will find a game room that is perfect for all ages and a home theater room with a large projector screen. The game room also includes a new bunk bed and a Pac-Man arcade game. The main floor of the lake house includes the living room with a tv and plenty of seating, fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom, a queen sized bedroom, and a king size bedroom which has it's own sitting area, desk, and balcony that overlooks the water. Pets are also welcome with a paid pet fee. 

Important: Sheets and towels ARE included with your stay. They are washed before and after every guest, feel free to use the laundry room during your stay as needed as well. We also provide a starter pack of paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries, cleaning products, soaps, detergent, sponges, k cups, nespresso pods, and tea!
