Newly Renovated Home / On Quiet Nature Sanctuary
Not only does this home back onto a nature sanctuary but the house itself boasts vaulted ceilings, and spacious living area and bedrooms. You'll feel like you're staying at a resort!
****New rules in British Colombia state that all short term rentals must be part of the owners principal residence. Any short term rental you look at in BC or certainly in the greater Victoria are has to comply with these same rules. These rules are enforced by huge fines or delisting properties that are not compliant.
Having said that, my wife and I are compliant and have completed all documentation with the province and the local city government. We have purpose built a lovely three bedroom, two and a half bathroom space for you to enjoy.
Having said that you must understand that WE LIVE IN THE BASEMENT with our small dog Hershey. She is a hypoallergenic dog. Meaning those that may have allergy concerns should not be concerned. She is non shedding and her breed is a Cockapoo. Hershey has no access to the rental space unless it is given to her by our guests. She sometimes spends more time with our guests than she does with us.
The basement suite has it's own entrance and thus your space is completely separate. We have been using this daily rental as our retirement income for many years and are very comfortable with the set up. We leave our guest completely alone to enjoy the space as they like and have no issues with groups of any size. This stunning 3 bedroom plus two sofa beds with double mattresses/ 2.5 bathroom home is newly renovated and minutes from the regions famous Starlight Stadium and other local favorites.
Home features hot water on demand.(never runs out) Air conditioning. Living room and family room. Two TVs. Lots of room for the extended family or kids to spread out.
We also offer a dream kitchen with tons of counter space for the chef or baker in the group.
COVID NOTICE: Your safety is extremely important to us, so we take every step possible to ensure a 100% sanitized space between guests cleanings.
The space
This stunning and extremely spacious 3 bedroom is newly renovated top to bottom, including a brand new kitchen with gas range. On the main floor, you'll find a large living room and dining room, which leads into the kitchen. Off of the kitchen is a separate family room with new 4K 50" TV and powder room. All bedrooms are upstairs (Primary with en-suite), along with a second full bath and laundry room. Take advantage of the (nearly) year-round temperate weather in Victoria on the deck off the kitchen, with gas BBQ
Keyless entry for easy check in. Endless hot water with tankless system. Air conditioning. Wi-Fi.

The house is a multi-unit rental with a basement suite (each unit has a completely separate entrance).
We have a security camera mounted on the front of the home over the garage. It covers the parking area and the front street.

My wife Nessa and I are here to please. We are retired with one daughter that lives in New York. We have one small dog.
Hershey is a four year old cockapoo that demands lots of our attention. She is so happy and loving. Her whole body wiggles when she greats you. The home and yard are set up so that the dogs can be a part of your stay or not. You get to decide if she are welcome or not. We totally understand that not everyone is a dog lover.

Our home is located on a frog sanctuary that offers tons of space for everyone to congregate or find their own quiet corner. The view off the balcony offers a chance to relax with a cool beverage or a cup of coffee in the morning where you can see all kinds of wildlife. Deer, racoons, squirrels with a wide selection of birds are regular visitors. Hawks, turkey vultures, eagles, doves, partridges, quail, robins, humming birds, owls and an assortment of small birds. The home is Sparkling clean, quiet, and well laid out. It has lots to offer for a small family or larger group whether it be for the weekend or a long term stay. We all look forward to hosting you. The home itself has undergone an extensive renovation. We put a lot of time and thought into making it a comfortable getaway for our guests. It has a heat pump on the upper floor that offer heat in the winter, and the more than ever needed AC in the summer. We also have a fully equipped wood stove that is so beautiful and calming on those chilly winter evenings. The floorplan offers enough space that the larger groups can mingle and enjoy each other comfortably, but get away to your own space if that is what you need. We hosted thirty people for Christmas dinner one year and it was comfortable and amazing.
We are close enough for all things in the greater Victoria area but also uniquely situated around the corner from starlight stadium for the rugby, football, or soccer matches. we are also just a couple of minutes off the highway if you would like to shoot up island to visit some of the other amazing vacation or tourist spots that the island has to offer. Being on the west shore also provides the best shopping, hiking/ biking options.
We are close enough for all things in the greater Victoria area but also uniquely situated around the corner from starlight stadium for the rugby, football, or soccer matches. we are also just a couple of minutes off the highway if you would like to shoot up island to visit some of the other amazing vacation or tourist spots that the island has to offer.
