A very desirable single story home with a beautiful large private backyard with tropical landscaping - ideal for entertaining or relaxing with the family! You’ll love this home because of the location. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, just 1 mile to the lagoon, about 2 miles to famous Carlsbad beaches and just a short drive to Legoland and Carlsbad Village with shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and more.

This spacious 1500 sqft home is just minutes from the beach in Carlsbad, California and has all the home comforts a family could ask for. It sleeps 6.

The local beaches are well known for great surf, soft sand and buggy-or-cycle-friendly trails running along the coastline. Watch the sunset on the coast or sample the local shops and markets in Carlsbad village, before retiring to this roomy home for a relaxed family meal in the fully equipped kitchen.

This single floor residence has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom has 1 king size bed and an ensuite with shower only. There are 2 more bedrooms, each with 1 queen size bed, and both share the hallway bathroom.

Open floor plan featuring living room and full kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker. Home also features a dining area as well as laundry facilities in the garage. The house has a Smart TV, Wi-Fi, central heating, air conditioning, ceiling fans and indoor fireplace.

This home is professionally managed. We are a friendly team of folks who look after this beautiful property while the owners are away. We ask you to keep in mind, this is a private home which the owner retreats to. We simply ask that you respect & take care of the property as if it were your own. Let that love flow.

**We are available to you for standard check in times should you require any assistance from 4pm - 6pm. For after these hours we may be available for emergencies only and only then via Airbnb message app. We apologize if this causes any issues, but please consider this ahead of booking. Likewise, please advise us before traveling, on your estimated time of arrival so we can accommodate if possible.

If you've never been to Carlsbad, you are in for a treat. The Village has shopping, great restaurants for any taste, and personality. The beach is large with lots of soft sand. The beach offers all types of water sports from boogie boarding to paddle-boarding to swimming to snorkeling to surfing and splashing, it's up to you. Explore the coast by walking down one of the paved walkways (one by the sand, one by the street) or rent a bike and use the dedicated bike lanes.

Legoland is a short drive from our apartment as is the Museum of Making Music. San Diego isn't far away with the San Diego Zoo, USS Midway, Balboa Park and museums, the Star of India, and more...

You'll have free parking if you drive. Lyft, Uber, and taxi service is readily available.

*Home has tankless water heater so hot water will take 2-3 mins to warm up.
*Cleaning supplies can be in places that are easily accessed by children. Please take caution.
*Backyard is close to neighbors so please be respectful and keep volume low.
*Please exercise extreme caution when using the wood burning fireplace.

RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Definitions: 

"My People". Shall include myself, my spouse, legal partner, guests, invitees, licensees, children, wards, heirs, assigns, personal representatives and estate, if any. 

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
-Please respect check-in and checkout times. Check-in: 4pm-10pm. Checkout: 11am
-Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside Airbnb.
-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
-Maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a 'show up' charge, even if no work is performed.
-Absolutely no parties or loud music.
-This is a NON-SMOKING property.
-NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately.


This Short Term Rental Agreement is between AIR CONCIERGE INC. (herein referred to as “Manager” or “Property Manager”) on behalf of and in accord with the Property Owner ("Owner") and you as Guest (or “Occupant” or “Renter”) of the date set forth on the reservation details confirmation noted on the confirmation which shall be received by the Parties via email as well as provided in the Airbnb.com software.  For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows:

SMOKING: A $1000 fine will be charged to Occupant if there is any evidence of smoking inside or outside of the property within a 20’ radius of the property.

Fire and Fire Safety. Occupant is notified that the Property may be located in an area susceptible to fire, and as such Occupant agrees all conform with all applicable fire codes of any governmental authority, and ensure safe and reasonable use, management, and extinguishment of any fire places, bbq's, smoking (if permitted), fire pits and any other device or act involving the risk of fire. In the event Occupant discovers any fire related safety issues, Occupant shall immediately inform Manager and cease and desist immediately from undertaking, or continuing usage until inspection, remediation (if necessary) and written approval by Manager that use is permitted. Flammable substances and solids, such as gasoline, benzene, naphtha, cleaning fluids, explosives, and fireworks may not be used or stored on the Property. Lighted candles, incense, kerosene lamps, halogen lamps and tenant installed electric heaters may not be used in the Property. ALL COOKING MUST BE CONFINED TO DESIGNATED COOKING AREAS. Use of electrical appliances not provided with the Property, such as hot plates, heating coils, coffeepots, popcorn poppers, electric frying pans, toaster ovens, irons, and electric heaters are prohibited. Storage or placement of any items (including trash, bicycles, boxes, furniture, etc.) in public areas such as corridors, stairwells, or balconies is prohibited. Any and All decorations used in the Property shall be flameproof or fire resistant materials. Any additional lighting (i.e. Christmas lights) must be Management approved with proper installation and approved. No lights may be strung from any pipes or fire/safety equipment. Any violation of the above fire prevention regulations may be subject to fine and/or termination and removal of the Occupant from the Property.

PETS: A$1000 fine will be charged to Occupant if there is any evidence of any pet inside the property unless Manager has given express written consent and a pet fee and pet deposit has been paid by Occupant.    

EVENTS, GATHERINGS, PARTIES.  No events, special occasion hostings including but not limited to weddings, corporate functions, bridal parties or related events including inviting other persons not disclosed in the reservation guest count, shall be permitted on the property for any reason. A violation of this clause shall immediately cause the property manager to terminate the rental agreement and renter to immediately vacate the premises.  Manager shall impose a fee of up to $5,000 for any violation of this provision, and if such event is either a wedding or similar ceremony or an event in  which the number of Occupants doubles or more the guest count disclosed at the time of booking, such fee shall increase to $10,000, unless express written consent has been provided by Manager to Occupant.

Family get together.
The property was great inside and out. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Gas grill came in handy as we BBQ several times. Beach chairs and boggie boards came in handy.

Could not connect with anyone when air conditioner failed. No one returned email request for a crib for 3 year old child. Request for additional info from property management was day before we were to leave! Communication overall was a problem.

House was clean, spacious and well stocked
Its a very nice home. Clean and spacious. Beautiful backyard would of liked to spend more time outside but we had rain everyday of our stay. The host was in touch and communicated well. My girlfriend left some items behind and when I contacted the host she was on it to get it mailed back to us. Very quiet neighborhood. I would not hesitate to rent this house again.

94th Bday Weekend
We rented this house to accommodate out of town family for a 94th birthday celebration. It was great because it was located between the two homes/venues of parties. It was comfortable, had good access and parking. My 3 year old grandson who likes to play with toy/model airplanes said that the yard had "Great Airspace!" We would rent again for future family gatherings.
