This beautiful home offers 1,700 square feet of tastefully decorated and well-appointed living space. A wood-beamed cathedral ceiling echoes the great outdoors.

Relax in a large great room with free wifi, a Netflix account and stream your favorite shows on the flat-screen Smart TV. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere and plush furnishings invite you to sit back and relax.

The fully equipped kitchen was built for entertaining family and friends. Newly renovated, you'll love the stylish granite countertops, expansive island with bar stools, stainless steel appliances, and essential cooking supplies. And have dinner at the custom built dining table.

A huge sunroom with 180 degrees view of the lake. A pool table for you or your guests. There is a 2nd dining table and a spacious 6 person sitting area.

The outdoor space makes this property an ideal lake getaway, complete with a boat cleat, dock and beach/lake access. Under the stars or serve happy hour drinks on the furnished deck overlooking the lake – a charcoal grill, chaise lounges, additional seating and a 3rd dining table and more. To keep you warm on cold nights or s’mores with family is a stone fire pit with a water view.

It’s located off highway 441. This home's wonderful waterfront location makes it easy to embrace "lake living."

You can find fantastic shopping, dining, and entertainment within 5-10 minutes of the property, or spend the day delighting in southern hospitality in the town of Milledgeville or take the Milledgeville Historic Trolley tour.

For a little adventure off of the lake, explore 4H Rock Eagle, Old Governor’s Mansion, Andalusia Farm, bike the Antebellum Trail, tour the historic homes in Madison, hit the greens at the Uncle Remus Golf Course.

Great get away for a small family

We really enjoyed the house. Everything was clean and the kitchen and bath were modernized with nice fixtures. We had tv access for the kids and the views were lovely. Lake access was right out the back door. Everything was very simple and just right.

Bday weekend getaway

The property was nicely decorated and the view of the lake was amazing!! My partner and I came to enjoy a weekend lakeside getaway. The pool table in the sunroom was a bonus. The only problem we have pointed out was the bathroom. Beautiful, but the position of the toilet made accessing the shower interesting. Would definitely book again though.

It's the best location on the lake and to town. It's a beautiful place. There is not a hot/spa tub it was too hot to use one. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to stay there again. Thanks.

Birthday stay for family

The host responded to questions fairly quick, pool table was the main reason for us choosing this home and the cue sticks had no tips, he did offer to reimburse us for tip kit repair at Walmart but Walmart no longer carries and we searched everywhere with no luck and Amazon would not arrive in time. The pool table in the sunroom is also nowhere near level. This was extremely disappointing. The view is beautiful, bed comfortable, cool couch but lacking quite a few things. Rustic is fine but there were not enough cups for each of us to have 1, the pans were really dirty and silverware that were in cupboards, no broom. It was also very dark inside at night. Good Mexican restaurant right down the street

Beautiful with small master bedroom

The living room, bathroom , kitchen and pool table area was lovely! The master bedroom was very small with no side tables and push up against the wall, so you had to crawl down to the foot of the bed I get out of it if you were the one against the wall. Although the bed was very comfortable! The decor was beautiful and it was quaint. If you don’t care about the size of the master bedroom I would recommend the place.

Good place- room for some improvement

Beautiful views. Nice open concept space with a lovely kitchen. Big supermarket near. The house could use some more lighting in the kitchen area and a few other things like a night stand. Main bedroom is very small. I had some guy from pest control just waltz his way into the house, when I was still there!! It was inappropriate and invasive. My car was outside and tv on so no excuse for that to have happened! It ruined the vibe of my trip towards the end.

Gorgeous lake views

House could use some love on the exterior but was nicely done on the inside. It is listed as a 3 bedroom but there is only 2 small bedrooms and a blowup mattress . Not sure what is going on with the septic system but had to bag all toilet paper. Aside for those things, would stay again.

Gorgeous View - Perfect location

We loved the house! It is perfect and exactly what we needed for "Family Weekend" with out daughter at GCGU. It is an easy drive to campus and waking up and having coffee on the dock was the best. The sun sets in the perfect place to watch from the dock as well. The coffee was a nice touch. Comfy beds, really nice bath towels. We will definitely rent again for our next trip to visit our daughter!

Perfect Fall Break

I highly recommend this VRBO home for a fall getaway. We did a three day weekend and had a wonderful time. We never even left the home. I brought all our food and I had plenty of room in the kitchen to cook. There is more than enough room to sit and relax inside and out.When we weren’t eating we were fishing. I’m guilty of a few naps while gazing out of the sunroom with my feet up. My husband caught three huge blue catfish. It was very exciting to see him reel them in. The owner and manager of this home are wonderful to work with. We had a wonderful experience and I hope next spring break or fall break we can come back to visit again. Maybe a few days longer so we can venture out to visit the area. We enjoyed the house so much we never even left till our journey back home. Thank you to the owners for your hospitality and the use of your home.

A cozy place with a great view

The hosts were very communicative made everything more enjoyable and easy. Clean and spacious accomidations with great location and views. Lots of activities with the pool table, wifi and board games. Great kitchen to enjoy also. Central AC system is a bit lacking. Multiple fans to compensate however and portable AC for living room

Nice cabin. Perfect for short fishing trip with Great grandson. The only issue was the dock light was not working which was disappointing since it was a hot day and we wanted to fish at night. Sent the host an email, his response was disappointing. His only response was "it was working the day before". Did not offer to look at it or replace light bulb.

Great location but lacked luster

I grew up here and knew the location was great. Perfect spot on the water and to stores. Very easy to find but curb appeal was lacking. Grass was not cut. A/C was on but was still 79 when we arrived and struggled to cool it down. Even with the portable A/C unit, it kept getting warm inside. 2 of the fans provided were broken and the bed rooms were so warm at night that it was tough to get comfortable. The master bed was a full not a queen and there was a discrepancy in whether the grill was gas or charcoal, it ended up charcoal. Overall the trip and stay was ok and would recommend staying there. Just be prepared to not cool off during the day while inside and more than 5 people would be tough. Perfect for family of 4. As for the lake , great for swimming or fishing. Easy getting in and out and just relaxing on the dock. Hopefully this helps.

Perfect area!

House was exactly as pictured. Adorable 2bed 1 bath house .. kitchen/living room and sunroom are all open. Bedrooms and bath are a pretty tight squeeze. I would say not handicap accessible.. but wasn’t an issue with our family. Pool table, games, even kayaks available. BP store at the end of the street. Straight across the water for boat gas. Less than 10-15 minutes from Walmart & the mall.
