Are you seeking for your own private enclave only 15 minutes from Oceanside beach?
Villa Descanso has that special feel of a private oasis with your own private backyard pool and heated jacuzzi. Come and relax in our 6 bedrooms, 2.5 baths single story home. You will enjoy the breezy atmosphere and peace and quiet. There is a spacious backyard with the pool as well as a comfortable living room and dining room sitting 12. The pool can be heated to 80 degrees for $100 per day. The Jacuzzi is heated for no fee. There is also an outdoor covered patio for the perfect california indoor/outdoor experience! Each bedroom is outfitted with comfortable bed and linen. There is an open feel throughout the home and a modern decor!

We had a wonderful trip in this home! The home was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything that you could need. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the swimming pool and sitting by the fire pit in the evenings. The backyard was so spacious and just the perfect entertaining space. The owners were easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

We had our annual family reunion and this home was perfect! Three families shared the space, while others visited throughout the day. We had 3 generations ranging from 4 weeks old to 80 and this home accommodated everyone’s needs - comfortable bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen with plenty of space in the kitchen and dining areas, lots of room to relax and visit in the living room spaces, and tons of outdoor seating for games, visits, and dining. And the pool and hot tub were perfect! We made frequent trips to the beach, which was a quick and easy drive both directions. If you need a comfortable, clean, well stocked home for a crowd, this is the place!

The house was amazing for our family of 10! Plenty of bedrooms/beds for everyone to have their own place to sleep. The beds were all very comfortable.The outdoor space was spectacular! The big table for outdoor dining, the pool, hot tub and our favorite…the fire pit, we loved it all! There were plenty of dishes and cookware to use. The amount of pool toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. on site was awesome. The communication with the host was very timely and pleasant. The house was extremely clean. Wonderful Stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. It is a beautiful home with nice facilities and features, able to accommodate a large family with kids and grandkids. This house was wonderful! The owner was responsive and amazing. I needed a mixer and she had one delivered to the doorstep for me so I could bake for my family! We really enjoyed the beach toys too! Stayed here with family and friends as an anniversary present to ourselves, and used this as a spot to gather so family could come see us as opposed to us driving everywhere to see everyone else. There was plenty of space to hang, and visit comfortably. It was great to be able to kick our feet up by the fire while the kids were in the spa and that we were close enough to be comfortable enough to do so. Loved how the front entry way gate could lock so we could leave the front door open and let the kids out without worrying they might get to the street. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for families!

Loved everything about this property. It was described perfectly! My family of 7 was in town for our sons wedding nearby. We all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves in between the many wedding festivities.

Great accommodations for our group of 12! The house was very spacious and everyone (from ages 3-80+) were comfortable! Marie and Brandon thought of everything - the house was well stocked and we loved gathering around both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Good location for Legoland and Safari Park. Highly recommended for large groups!

Spacious for a big group

I celebrated my 40th birthday with 6 of my friends and this space was perfect. It was like we had a slumber party but with our own rooms. The communal areas were spacious and the pool + jacuzzi was a really nice to just relax. We had a wonderful stay at the Descanso residence and would come again!

Fun at villa Descanso

We really enjoyed our family reunion at Villa Descanso. Accommodations were very nice and the location was very handy for our trips to the beach. We loved the pool. Our only disappointment was to find out that heating the pool cost an extra $100 a day. All in all it was a great time.

Thanksgiving in Oceanside

It was wonderful! 8 adults, plenty of space, so many spots to gather indoors and out, very comfortable. Clean! Cooked everyday, kitchen was awesome for cooking for a crowd. Backyard was so fun! Coming from Boston it was such a treat. Running and walking trails close by that we used everyday, neighborhood is great. Would book another stay here in a minute!

We love this home because it is the perfect quaint get away in the San Diego area. It is big enough to house our extended family and there is plenty of space to spread out. It is only 15 min from Oceanside beach and we easily can get to Legoland and San Fiego.
