Great Location off the beaten path on the scenic Okatee River. Just 20 minutes from Hilton Head, 15 minutes from Beaufort and 10 minutes from the quaint, cozy town of Bluffton. This property has a tidal creek with a dock and two kayaks and a paddle board available(for use on high tide). There are many features in the area such as the beach, exceptional golf courses, fishing, shopping and incredible sight seeing opportunities.

It was a quick trip with my sister to show her the low country. It was such a nice stay. The house was very clean and has everything you need. It is larger than the pictures. Nicely decorated. And the view and location on the river and tidal creek was amazing. We loved staying here. Would recommend.

Peaceful getaway

Feels secluded but only minutes from the highway. Roomy, well maintained home. Only suggestion would be to put drapes/blinds on the main bedroom windows to enable sleeping past dawn.

Great little river house

We had a great stay at the river house.John and Kim were such good hosts,they even let us store our camper in their yard for our stay since we were going to continue our trip elsewhere after our family wedding and gifted us a bottle of wine.Best part was drinking coffee on the deck watching the marsh every morning

We were a part of the bridal party for a wedding in Oldfield and the commute back and forth was so easy. The view from the back porch and out of the bedroom window was stunning every morning. Highly recommend this property!

Comfort on the Marsh

As advertised - clean, comfortable enough, and we’ll stocked. View and location gets 5 stars, neighboring homes only 2 or 3 stars. Felt perfectly safe but the neighbors definitely didn’t have the same pride in their property as the owners did. Fair price, would stay again!

Beautiful Getaway

This house was in a beautiful location with a great view. We enjoy sitting outside on the lawn and enjoying both the sunrise and sunsets. The house was the perfect size for us to be together or have our own space as couples. Our favorite room in the house was the room attached to the master bedroom with the great view of the backyard and into the marsh. We sincerely thank you for opening your home to us and anyone else who gets to stay there!

Feels like Home!

This rental has everything including comfort, cleanliness, quiet, relaxing and entertaining with a strong WiFi. I had to work a few times with a VPN and the Wifi handled it beautifully. All the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The couch was huge with a TV that you can figure how to operate quickly. The kitchen has all the gadgets with stocked spices, oils, paper towels, napkins and and 2 different type of COFEE MAKERS! The pier was a lot of fun to see the rays, turtles, racoons, fish and 100s of birds. The rental provides fishing gear and kayaks. We visit family in this area 2x a year and we will definitely rent this property again. Its nice to have your own place after visiting with family to have a break.

We had a wonderful weekend stay! The house is clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed kayaking and seeing dolphins in the river. My only suggestion is to add curtains or blinds to the bedroom windows in case guests want to sleep in past sunrise. The views are stunning though!! We would definitely book again!
