Beach Walk A - Direct beach access casita

This cozy casita is tucked directly across the street from the beach-perfect for the ultimate beach getaway! This two bedroom and one bathroom villa is located in the quiet neighbourhood of Langosta and across the street from Playa Langosta, while still being only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Tamarindo.
This is the perfect place for guests who are seeking a quiet and peaceful beach vacation! Often guests will see howler monkeys outside the villa, perfect nature lovers!

It comes with a kitchenette, including a small stove & fridge, microwave, and toaster. The living space provides a comfortable sitting area with a TV. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a large closet and space for storage. The second bedroom has a twin size bed.
The villa has a small patio and outdoor table and chairs, perfect for hanging out and enjoying the warm climate. Often, guests can find howler monkeys hanging out in the trees by the villa!


*Please note there is not laundry available on the property. In case you need to wash clothes, we can recommend a local wash and fold service. Also the casita is a small size.

The casita has 24 hour security and a reserved parking space. Recently the road to Playa Langosta has been paved , making access to town very quick via bike, golf cart or walking (15min).

We let our clients decide if they want self check in and texting interaction or having someone meeting them on site

Langosta is a very quiet neighborhood located only 15 min walk from down town tamarindo.

There are a few great restaurants around the corner and a super market in case you need groceries.

It is super easy to get around walking, golf cart, car or bikes.

About one block there are bike rentals!

We loved that this location was just far enough away from Tamarindo that it was a quiet place to turn in for the night but still close enough to enjoy the night life and other activites in the area. This place was the perfect distance from the beach and was reasonabley priced compared to other options nearby. We are very content with our stay here.

The location is excellent, right across the street from the beach access, and we love the chill vibe of Langosta. We walked most mornings and evenings either on the beach or the street. Very pleasant. The casita is small but suited our needs, and the property is very well tended!

Beautiful beach, cute apartment, great location

When enjoyed our cozy, two bedroom apartment and the incredible proximity to the beach. It was a nice walk into town and we also had the option of a local restaurant and grocery store.

Beautiful, compact, beach property

We stayed for 5 nights in this lovely beach cottage, complete with a small kitchen and extra room (for a small family), a patch away from the beach, a 20 minute walk to Tamaraindo, but quiet. We loved it!

Would 100% stay again

We had an amazing stay. My husband and I had our morning coffee watching the monkeys in the trees. We had beach access across the street, stores with a minute walk. Cabin was clean and cozy. Easy to talk with the property manager. Got meet the owner She was lovely. We are already planning on going back staying here.

Cool Spot

We had a great time at this cottage. Small yet perfect for us. Excellent location. Away from the crowds in town, but close enough to access easily. We sat outside at night and watched the wildlife and people walking to and from the beach. Two minute walk to the most beautiful sunsets ever seen. We fell in love with Costa Rica and their gracious and proud people.

Property was located perfectly from Tamarindo Casita was clean. Towels were a little funky , but property mgr brought different towels The shower was really weak hot water was in and out Regardless ,of those 2 situations ,stay was good Beaches surrounding area were perfect.

Issue with ants

It may just be a condition of the area, but we cleaned up dead tiny. Btw three or four times a day. Perhaps nothing can be done. Could have used a cutting board. Very sweet and spacious storage.

The unit was right on the main road and thus it was noisy. The unit had no water pressure to shower (humid and 35 degrees Celsius) or clean the dishes. I have notified the property manager that I will be moving after the first two nights requesting a refund for the last three days. The property manager has approved the early cancellation, but I haven’t received my refund yet.

Beautiful Casita

I visited Playa Langosta for a family wedding in Tamarindo. This casita was perfect for location & charm. Walking distance to Tamarindo yet far enough away. The VBRO is exactly as described and better. The open air feeling when the doors and windows are open made for the most perfect mornings. The natural path to the beaches at Playa Langosta is just steps away. The casita has simple touches like Turkish towels and neutral decor. I didn’t want to leave. I feel the benefit of staying in a VBRO is to feel like you live there. This was so true for this location. Resident wildlife like the iguana that lives in the tiles above the porch was a friend every morning for yoga and coffee. Want to be a part of the howler monkeys daily parade? This incredible moment occurs right over the casita as they join for their daily food. Don’t worry - they stay in the trees. It’s a magical experience I was able to contact the owner with split second response. To include - “where did you get the cool wind chimes “;). I will go back and hope to bring my family.
