I'm sorry that you had a difficult experience Russell. I did make a mistake and thought that your arrival was the following day. As a result the house was not cleaned per my standards. These things were completed: All beds were made with fresh sheets, bathroom, kitchen and floors cleaned by me in a mad rush to provide the house to you on time. My only other option for me under the circumstance was for me to cancel your reservation. Perhaps I made a mistake by not doing that for your booking. There are a few things that you did not mention that I'd like to point out. You requested on the morning of your booking to arrive 2 hours earlier than the check-in time. Despite seeing me as you were leaving, you lied and said you had appointment and would return later without telling me your concerns. When I was finally able to reach you after messages from VRBO saying you had reported that you couldn't get into the property (another lie), I issued a full refund to you immediately without further questions and expressed my sincere apologies for the situation. It was my mistake and once again I apologize very sincerely that I placed you in the difficult situation. This review is not an accurate reflection of how I regularly delive my property. If you have questions I hope you will ask.
