Note: The main house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is available year round. The Glamping Tent (the third bedroom and third bathroom) is available from April 15 until October 31 each year. During the open days in April and October, the shower will not be operable and the sink will use bottled water instead of the faucet due to the risk of freezing during these months. The waterless dry flush toilet will be available at all times.

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms with nearly 1,600 square feet of luxurious furnishings and finishes with nearly 1,000 square feet of deck space to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and scenery of Colorado. Plus new for 2023 starting May 1st, we added a 320 square foot luxury glamping tent featuring a gas fireplace, king bed, luxury mattress and linens, coffee maker, fridge, toilet, sink and shower! It also has a front deck with two Adirondack chairs and a fire pit - and the best view of any glamping tent we know about!

When we saw the #1 short term rental property a few years ago was a small treehouse in suburban Atlanta Georgia, we thought we could do better...and Zen Treehouse is the result! The vision was to create a luxury escape from the stressors of the world, where people could go to relax and enjoy nature and the many amazing luxury amenities that Zen Treehouse offers - a professionally designed interior and exterior space that is luxurious, spacious and comforting.

Enter the drive with a secure, coded driveway gate that, when it shuts behind you, represents shutting out the rest of the world and soaking in the amazing feeling that you get when you visit Zen Treehouse. Relax by one of the two exterior fire pits on one of the four large decks the house offers. The main deck also provides an outdoor dining space for six with amazing views over Deer Creek Valley - from the back decks, you look out over a forest of trees for miles and miles.

The newly completed (opened May 1st 2023) Zen Glamping Tent sleeps two in true "glamping not camping" luxury. King bed, fine bedding, gas stove/fireplace for ambiance and warmth, bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, and coffee and water bar. The deck features two Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and beautiful views over the valley. We also have a corn hole set up outside the tent for you to enjoy.

***New August 15, 2024 - New evaporative coolers for each of the two bedrooms and the main living area of the Treehouse. Summers are getting warmer in Colorado, so we just added these for the warmer summer months.***

Our base price is for up to six guests. Additional guests--up to eight total April through October--require an additional fee of $50/person/stay (collected after guest count is confirmed at booking). The base price is adjusted in the winter months since the house can only accommodate six.

The Zen Treehouse is only one hour from downtown Denver and only an hour and 10 minutes from downtown Boulder or Denver International Airport. The only part of the drive that is on a dirt road is the last five minutes. This is where an all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. There are somewhat steep switchbacks that will take you, in those last five minutes, to the gate of Zen Treehouse, where luxury and relaxation await.

This is a pet-friendly property that does require a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per animal. We also charge a $350 refundable deposit per dog (for up to 2 large or 3 small dogs) for stays at Zen Treehouse . This deposit is refunded within 2 weeks of departure if the cleaning is not excessive--beyond what is expected by the number of dogs staying--AND if no damages occur. The most common damages that result in forfeiture of deposit are scratches to the doors, door frames and walls, damages to screens, and lack of cleaning up after the dog(s). The best way to avoid these types of damages is to not close dogs into rooms or the house (if you are leaving), and if you do plan to leave your dog(s) at the house, having a kennel/kennels there is highly recommended. For damages, we pay our property manager for the time it takes to gather photos, contact guests, file claims with the booking platforms, and coordinate repairs, and we pay our contractor(s) for the actual repairs. If the cost goes above the fee collected, we will ask the dog owner to pay the difference.

We also will have a 50amp outlet in the garage to quickly charge your EV during your stay.
