thank you for your comments Denise! We always try our best to make our guests as comfortable as possible during their stay. It is very important for our guests to understand the location of this villa. Pavones is beautiful and untouched by comercial tourism, meaning we are very remote and power outages do happen from time to time, which affect both the internet and power in the home, as well as every other home in Pavones. It is a town wide outage that is out of our control, we rely on the local electric company to fix the issue as promptly as possible. As a rule of thumb, when traveling in Latin America you should always lock up your valuables, that is way we have a safe for you to use. We have a key code electric gate to enter and leave the premises plus a 24 hour caretaker and camara's throughout the property, we have never had a break-in or theft, we take security seriously. Thank you for letting us know about the sliding glass door, once you informed us of the issue, we quickly proceeded to contact the manufacturer located in the capital city, San Jose. We only use high-end windows and doors and unfortunately the company is out of San Jose. They processed my request and scheduled the next available technician, who arrived on your check out date to fix the issue. The sliding glass door is now fixed.
