Good location and quiet neighborhood. We called this the "squeaky" house. The wooden beds squeaked loudly with any movement. The front door squeaked. The dining rooms chairs made a loud noise when scooting back from the table. All the important stuff was good though: clean, property as described. We had to buy coffee filters and a few extra rolls of toilet paper. I'd also recommend the owners buys ome rugs...no rugs in the house at all. The actual process of registering for this was a bit crazy. you have to fill out an extra form and submit your driver license and all this stuff...very annoying. We liked this house though because it was on the ground floor with no steps as we had older grandparents with us during our stay. Otherwise, we would choose a different house next time. Again, nothing majorly wrong with this house, just a few annoyances. It didn't really disrupt our stay at all though. Oh, the community pool was great...very clean and nobody else used it while we were there. And the parking was nice too...room for 3 vehicles if needed.

Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was so comfortable. We had 4 generations stay and enjoy the island and there was enough space for everyone to have their own space! Lovely area! Wasnt too noisy at bed time! Perfect get away!

2023 Family Vacation

The home we rented was exactly as described. It is a beautiful home and so relaxing to come home to after a busy day of sightseeing. My husband said the bed was so comfortable and was hard for him to wake up every morning. Overall it was a beautiful home.

Not clean and in need of repairs

The one bed room is full of rickety bunk beds that are not put together well, are bulky, and have caused gouges in walls - some patched and some need addressed. The floors had not been swept upon arrival and the shower / toilets do not work properly. CLR might be helpful but overall water pressure is also an issue - even just trying to brush teeth.

The floors were swept and mopped prior to your arrival, but perhaps the cleaners could have done a more thorough job. We will use your feedback to try and do better for the next guest. Port A trip

Very nice place! Only concerns were one sink did not have running water when we arrived. We took care of that ourselves. Also they only provided two large garbage bags which we could have used more. And there were no cleaning supplies which made cleaning after cooking difficult.

Great location to beach, shops and eating. One floor is great for carry in bags and kids..

Unit needs some repair and deep cleaning. Bunk beds need rails. Low on silverware and dishes to cook with. Ants an issue outside. Pool area needed clean up. Very quiet. Ac worked great. Unit was clean. Prompt response to all my emails. Very much appreciated.

Still seeing blue!

The unit was clean and as pictured- and very teal! It had enough room for out family of 4 with two extra kiddos (6 total) but it is a smallish space. Be aware that the bunk beds do not have rails so if you plan to use them for young kids they won't work. The pool gate was broken. The kitchen had plenty of pots & pans and lots of plates and bowls but had limited utensils (I wonder if people take them to the beach and forget to return?). It would have been nice if there was coffee and some other kitchen basics like salt and pepper available. We also had to buy additional toilet paper. We have a vacation rental in West Texas and if we didn't supply enough paper products for the week (especially at this price point) we'd get reamed in our reviews. There is a TV in every room but two of them didn't seem to be connected to the cable. I however didn't come to Port A to watch TV, my teen and her friend were more bummed about it. I did appreciate the games that were there! Overall a good spot for a family and one of the few places we could park 2 cars plus a golf cart. I never quite find a rental that is perfect in Port A so on this trip we decided it's time to buy our own place.

Mother’s Day stay

Cute cozy house

Super cute house, fit 8 people nicely. It was clean when we entered and check in process was super simple. Quick drive to the beach and close to local stores. Overall, great stay.
