This is a beautiful home that hosted our family group of 10 plus a baby with ease. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the beach and downtown TC. The backyard is perfect for hanging out. The host was very communicative and, when I reached out about a minor issue, responded almost immediately. Our family loved this getaway. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location but the house needs a few updates and some TLC. It's listed as sleeping 12. Our group of 5 fit comfortably, but any more than 8 people would have been really tight. I'm glad they kept some of the charm of this old house but there were a number of things that needed attention: closets and cabinets in the bedrooms needed to be refreshed, outlets and nightstands need to be added in bedrooms, broken window in the bathroom needed to be fixed, the kitchen is renovated but a could use some workable counter spaces, the deck and front porch need painting or replacing (but are great spaces to sit and enjoy). We loved that we could walk to the beach and into town and we enjoyed exploring Traverse City!

Fun stay!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the great location!! Everyone slept great on the clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen is a little sparse, but functional. The house itself is obviously old and historic, and could use some interior updates.
