I was in two minds about writing this review because part of me wanted to keep this beautiful villa a secret! It's such a stunning hidden gem that I almost didn't want to let anyone else discover it. But Thierry has been so incredibly kind and welcoming to my family that I felt I had to share our experience.Perched in the hills just 30 minutes from Nice, on the edge of the magical hilltop village of St-Jeannet, Thierry's villa is simply exceptional. Every morning began with a five-minute stroll to the local boulangerie for fresh croissants and bread, followed by a visit to the deli for cheese and pâté, then the greengrocer for fresh vegetables, salad and eggs. With everything you need just a short walk away, we were perfectly set up for another relaxing day by the pool. A supermarket is only a five-minute drive away for anything else you might need—including, of course, a few bottles of excellent local wine!The village itself is delightful, with a couple of lovely restaurants and a great pizzeria on evenings when we didn't feel like cooking, we could enjoy a wonderful al fresco meal just a short walk from the villa.What truly takes your breath away, though, is the view. Looking out over Nice and all the way to the Mediterranean Sea, it's simply spectacular. No matter how many times you see it, you never tire of it. It's one of those rare views that makes you stop and appreciate just how beautiful the world can be.Thank you, Thierry we will be back!
