Unbeatable view

We practically lived in the screen porch, very pet friendly, we played cards in the huge dining area. We loved the Keurig, the arcade game, and the beds were comfy. We would stay there again!

The view from the upstairs balcony is stunning! We had the excitement of seeing a bear one morning right behind the house. Highly recommend this House in the Clouds!

This property was stunning in every way! The beautiful clear Mountain View was breathtaking and the location in proximity to multiple tourist attractions and downtown elijay were perfect! The owners truly go above and beyond with communication and helpful information! I look forward to booking with them again!

Wonderful, relaxing time in the clouds

Wonderful stay - the view from the screened in porch and master is amazing. My toddler enjoyed the toys at the basement. Some minor issues and Matthew was very quick to respond (even when he is out of town with family- we appreciate it!). Close to town for a day out and pick up groceries. Overall a wonderful stay!

Great place for two families to meet

We love the House in the Clouds! It was spacious enough for 8 of us and had a bed for everyone which is often times difficult to find with 8 people (2 couples and 4 teens). We loved the view when we could see through the clouds, the house truly lives up to its name. The neighboring towns of Blue Ridge and Elijay were quaint and had great restaurants. Make sure you call ahead if you are a large party though even if ordering takeout as they may not be able to accommodate if they are too busy. We had that happen at River Street Cafe (?) It was a busy time of year though! The grill doesn't get too hot and may need to be checked. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day soon!

One gorgeous view!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the House in the Clouds! The road to the house is paved the whole way and not at all scary for those of us not used to mountain driving. Having both a screened and unscreened porch/deck was nice. WIFI was good. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. You'll enjoy it if you go!

Charming. House and million dollar view!

We enjoyed our stay at house in the clouds! The game room downstairs was super fun and we played our childhood favorites on The Pac Man console. Great setup for traveling with an infant with a main floor bedroom off the kitchen. The pool is really nice and everyone we met in the community was friendly. Most important, the owners are great communicators and very responsive. Thanks for sharing your little slice of paradise!

We really enjoyed our time in this home. Plenty of space and the views… amazing! The space was clean and very well stocked. We came prepared with supplies (hand soap, paper towels etc) and did not need them. Highly recommend this property and neighborhood.

Weekend in the Mountains

We enjoyed our stay! The house was the perfect layout for our crew. Downstairs was perfect for family game night. I can’t say enough about the view. Our nephew woke up after the first night and said “I can’t believe my eyes!” Great location, close to downtown.

Picturesque views abound

Quick trip with the family and it was just what we needed, a relaxing stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The place was immaculate, plenty of room and the game room in the basement was the highlight for the kids. As for me, sitting in the screened in porch looking out over the mountains, what could be better! Our host were super accommodating, and made the place feel like home.

Perfect cabin in the clouds for family or large group.

Cabin is great for gathering a family on comfy sofa around the fireplace or ample to allow everyone their own space! Surrounding is peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views. Location was ideal to visit Blue Ridge and sample local beers and barbecue. Host were great communicating details and quickly responding.

Absolutely stunning views

The property is located in a beautiful site, surrounded by mountains. The porches are wonderful and the house is comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and we were greeted with a welcome gift, fresh flowers and a bundle of firewood. Great place to stay.

Breathtaking views!!

Our stay was short but wonderful! The house was easy to find, the owners communicated really well and made everything seamless. Spotlessly clean!! Kitchen is complete with everything you could ask for and more. Easy ride to downtown Ellijay and the orchards. We had a great time!!

Stunning View!

We had such a lovely stay at House in the Clouds! The setup was perfect for us having 2 dogs and a toddler - we could put him in a bedroom and go down to the basement to watch tv and not worry about bothering him. The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and to get the dogs some fresh air, and the view is absolutely beautiful. Matt & April were so welcoming and accommodating - they answered every question we had and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be booking again!

Can’t wait to go back!

We loved every minute of our stay at House In the Clouds! The house had everything we needed, the location was perfect, and the view was AMAZING! We also couldn’t have asked for nicer property owners: Matt and April were so kind and so accommodating! We were thrilled to be the first to stay at HITC and can’t wait to go back!
