Amazing house with amazing views. Does require a 4x4 vehicle to climb some of the steep gravel parts of the road to reach the house but road is in great conditions and that's part of the charm too!

Beautiful views!! We really enjoyed our stay - we could have sat on the porch taking in the views all day, every day! The house was very comfortable for our family of 4 the bonus room upstairs was a hit and was much bigger in person! The house is starting to show some wear and tear - a lot of the kitchen utensils/cookware need to be replaced, wood on the porch railing needs to be replaced in areas, pool table sticks and darts have been well loved, and many of the deck nails need to be hammered back in (don’t walk barefoot on the porch!). Location was great and you will get used to the drive after your first time or two up the mountain!

Our family met here for a 3 day gathering. The house was perfect. Sleeps 6 but we only used the 2 bedrooms. Our niece tried to use the pull out sofa but the mattress was too lumpy. She is young and brought her own pad and sleeping bag, so all was good. The pool table was a great addition but the pool cues need some cushions. All the appliances worked great. We did prepare meals at the cabin and would have appreciated a few extra kitchen stables like a salad bowl and larger bowls for mixing and marinading chicken etc. The quiet location, beautiful views over the mountains, and lovely porch with outside table, chairs and comfortable seating was perfect. Would definitely recommend this property.

Breath taking.

We could not have asked for a better stay. The views were unbelievable. We loved how peaceful and secluded the cabin was, but not far from the fun of Bryson City and other attractions. Can’t wait to stay again!

What an amazing week, at an absolute stunning cabin. This place had everything you could ask for. The cabin was extremely clean, and had some amazing views. I highly recommend this cabin. We are already planning our summer trip to come back.

Amazing 20th Anniversary Trip

The property is even better than described. The steep road getting up to the cabin appears daunting but isn’t really bad. Just go slow!! Enjoyed the views from the hot tub and you really do wake up in the clouds! Peaceful and relaxing 11/10 we’ll definitely be back

My husband and I decided last minute to check out western NC. We booked this house on short notice. It was amazing!! Very clean, well equipped and comfortable! The views were spectacular!! I would and probably will book this house again. Absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay.

The first day we woke up, we came on the porch at sunrise to see the clouds below our altitude. It was picture perfect. So much so that I proposed to my gf at that moment! Cabin was better than the pictures. Highly rec.

This Cabin was completely AMAZING! The Best Mountain Views you could ever ask for. Clean, Cozy, and Warm. Snowed while we where there and we loved it. If you book this house MAKE SURE YOU DRIVE IN THE DAYLIGHT!! The roads are very narrow and make sure you bring all food because we didn't want to get on that road again. Other than that we had the time of our lives and will remember it forever.

This was our second year staying in this beautiful location and we were not disappointed! Our property was perfect as usual, letting us feel right at home! We actually had a beautiful little wedding ceremony here this year. After 50 years of friendship we decided to marry overlooking these beautiful mountains with this beautiful home as our backdrop! Our ceremony was performed by a local minister and 2 witnesses, our dream was fulfilled and we couldn’t have expected anything more special. Thank you to Great Smokys Cabin Rentals for your awesomeness! It’s why we go through you for our vacation needs, you make it worry free and make us feel special which screams volumes to the professionalism and genuine care you give as a company, which is rarely found these days and we greatly appreciate it! We can’t wait for our next visit and thank you again for everything ❤️
