Dieses schöne Haus kombiniert einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Playa Guiones oder zum Nosara Yoga Institute mit Internet, Telefon, Pool, einer großen Poolterrasse und einer voll ausgestatteten Küche in der Wohngegend K, die als die prestigeträchtigste Gegend des American Project gilt. Das Hauptschlafzimmer (Kingsize-Bett) verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit einer großen Dusche, die mit balinesischen Flusssteinen zur Fußmassage aufgewertet wurde. Das zweite Bad ist ein separater Raum mit einer weiteren großen Dusche und einem Waschbecken. Zusätzlich gibt es noch ein WC. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett, und das dritte kann Zwillinge oder ein König sein. Alle Schlafzimmer haben große Glastüren, die auf die Poolterrasse und auf die Baumwipfel führen. Das ist eine Sicherheitsalarmanlage und ein separater Safe in jedem Schlafzimmer sowie einzelne AC-Einheiten. Balinesische Möbel, schöne Textilien, hochwertige Bettwäsche, wöchentlicher Reinigungsservice, täglicher Poolservice, sehr aufmerksamer Besitzer und Manager. Lass uns auf dich aufpassen !!

Great location and quiet oasis

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay here. It was a short walk to the beach and we saw howler monkeys multiple times on the walk. You can also walk to restaurants. The property manager was very attentive and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic!

The proximity to the beach is perfect! The property offers everything we needed: comfy beds with a/c, refreshing pool, amazing location. We are extremely happy with our time here and highly recommend. Yes, it’s dated but it’s very clean and actually everything you need. Great communication! Felt safe as it was myself and my children.

Great location. Great Pool.

Located in K section of Nosara and a short walk to the beach. The beach is excellent for sunsets and surfing. A quick ride into Playa Guiones shops. An ATV or two is a must to get around town.Great property manager who is super helpful and there to greet you in arrival and departure. You will enjoy it here.

Heartwaves

Despite the dismal weather during our stay, Heartwaves provided us with a safe and comfortable place to be together. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room comfortable enough to lounge around in and play games. Claudia and Jason were welcoming and kind and very helpful. Jane was a star, particularly when our flights were cancelled, and showed great generosity. I know that others have mentioned some sort of plaque would be good in order to find the house, and I agree. Naming it, perhaps where the parking spot is, would be most useful.

Great location

This house was "fine" but we would not book it again--it was very expensive for the quality. It looked much cleaner/nicer in the photographs than in real life. The house is long in the tooth...paint peeling from the walls, panels missing from cupboards and windows. Substantial stains on the pillows and towels. There were no matching glasses (3 water glasses, one wine glass, etc.) It is also in a busy area, so you hear the ATVs and motorcycles all of the time. On the bright side, great location next to Bohdi Tree, walk to the beach, washer/dryer, parking, air conditioning and fans in rooms.

Better than advertised! Perfect private house near the beach

We could not have asked for more in our perfect nine-day stay at this ideally situated house with a private pool near the beach. We rented bikes to get around and swam and cooked daily at the property. It was heaven!

six of us shared this house for a week. Everything was fabulous. My only suggestion is that they put a sign up in front so it’s easier for people to find it. The weather was beautiful. The pool was amazing. I would definitely stay there again.

Just what we needed!

Nice casa with pool, super close to beach and town. Good kitchen where we cooked most breakfasts and a few dinners. Coffee filters already there. Nice touch. Property mgr super responsive. Comfy house for lounging around. ACs in bedrooms cooled nicely on the hot days we were there. Comfy beds in all rooms, good sleeps had by all.

Amazing house!

Stayed here with our 3 young kids, and it was perfect. 5-10 minute walk to the beach or easy drive, 2 minute walk to Bodhi Tree yoga, and house and pool are amazing. The property doesn't have the same security that we're used to when staying in Nosara (ie, fences that prevent access because of the problem of theft in the area), which was a little bit of a concern at first, but the house itself was very secure, has a new security system, and as long as you don't leave anything valuable on the deck when you leave or at night, it's completely fine. Highly recommend!

Perfect Vacation

We stayed a week here in July, and it was a perfect visit. Amazingly we did not get much rain at all. The house had everything we needed, it was so nice to have to pool to cool off in after a day at the beach or after an ATV tour. The AC worked very well in all the rooms although we did not use it very much. The patio area was a great place to read and relax and the outdoor shower was a nice touch also. The location was the best part as it was easy to walk to the beach or to town. We never needed to ask Jane for anything but she was thoughtful enough to check in on us to make sure everything was fine. I definitely recommend this property.

Our stay in Playa Guoines

Great property and pool. Great location (Perfect location)..a short walk down to the beach and a short walk to the Bodi Tree Yoga Studio. I had no idea that the Bodi Tree was such a world class yoga studio....it was huge with many classes each day and that it was so close. We did the 830 class every morning and it was great to walk there in just 5 minutes. Equally easy to walk down the hill to the beach. Air conditioning, water, everything worked great. Howling monkeys thankfully only showed up on our last night. There is also a beautiful path through the jungle into town...we only discovered it on our second last day...that would have made a short walk into the bakery on the mainstreet also....it would also have made a great jogging loop...down to the beach, along the beach to 'main street' then jungle path back to Heartwaves. Thanks Jane!

Heartwaves

Heartwaves, though the fixtures are now a little old and tired, is a very comfortable and relaxing house and its proximity both to the beach and to the highway and nearby towns, was great. It suited our needs, as two couples, beautifully. We felt safe and very comfortable, even though there is such a strain on local infrastructure at the moment. Lots of space to be together or alone. Comfortable beds and sofas, wonderful outdoor eating area and a cool relaxing pool (the weather was HOT!!). The kitchen was a good size for meal prep. The busy, ever-present construction noises were unfortunate, but not at all the fault of the owner or her helpers. Claudia, the property manager, was very responsive, alert and helpful. Jason, who came daily and attended immediately to small repairs, was very congenial and responsible. Nosara has changed greatly since we were here in 2019, and we preferred it when it was a quieter backwater. But such is life. I thank Jane for her help and responsiveness.

wonderful house in amazing town

This is a beautiful and meticulously designed house, and Jane is a PERFECT host. Thick walls, wonderful windows, incredible deck. The airconditioning in each bedroom works beautifully. Each room has a wonderful overhead fan. All windows have real and effective screens. The house is built to US standards in every way. The deck looks out into jungle —and that's basically all you can see. The burma couch is really wonderful. Howler monkeys come close in a regular cycle. We had a wonderful routine of beach in the morning, pool in the afternoon, and plenty of napping. Three things to consider: (1) Though the beach is close, it is at least 10 to 15 minutes to walk. We drove, but the roads in Nosara are terrible – unpaved, dusty, and many potholes. (2) If you are dependent on the Internet, the Internet is very weak. We never got more than 400 Kbps. The house needs to upgrade from DSL to 4G. (3) There is strong advice given to lock the house each night and especially when leaving in the evening. That routine was a bit of a hassle. Overall, if you have reason to be in Nosara (like the great surfing especially for beginners), this is an ideal location with an ideal host.

Casa Heartwave March 2019

We stayed at Casa Heartwave for 2 weeks at the end of March; wonderful home and very attentive owner! Casa Heartwave has a beautiful outdoor living space; a perfect balance of covered outdoor space that always had a gentle breeze or sun exposed chaise lounge area next to the wonderful pool! Unlike most pools in playa guiones which are plunge pools - this pool is a larger size which allows some lapse! The pool has some afternoon sun as well as afternoon shade - again, hard to find combination! The outdoor covered living was so well thought out that you could eat out there with the huge wood table and cozy chairs or lounge on the many wonderful options; sun or no sun again. The kitchen was so well equipped; juicer was a complete bonus plus sharp knives, peelers great pans. Though the property is completely walking distance to EVERY restaurant in Playa Guiones and under a 10 minute stroll to the beautiful beach - we still ate at home 1/2 the time because of the peaceful outdoor setting at casa heartwave. There is some construction nearby; but then again - much of playa guiones is under constant expansion so you would be hard pressed to find a section without this same dynamic. But let me add - We saw monkeys every morning swinging from the trees nearby to the property; wonderful to have coffee and watch them; if construction was crazy - the monkeys would stay away (so realize again - you will hear some construction noise any where you stay in Playa Guiones. And regarding the owner - I saw a rough review; that was not our experience in the least! Jane was a click of an email away and responded within hours to any questions. The home has screens on every door which is not always common in costa rica! This really allowed for fresh air all day and night! There are ac's in each bedroom as well. Jane respects your privacy and space yet she is attentive and available! I would stay again at Casa Heartwave!

Bien situé mais photos beaucoup plus belles que réalité.Une des 3 chambres était confortable seulement.Chambre 2, le lit craqué tellement qu’il est impossible de bouger sans se réveiller.Chambre 2, l’unité de climatisation a un grincement intermittent même si on le ferme! Même avec des bouchons on l’entend.Propre. Magnifique piscine.On s’est fait voler pendant la nuit à notre dernière nuit…pas la faute du proprio mais tout de même ajout à l’insalubrité

My love of yoga and the ocean brought me to Nosara and Heartwaves is my home which expresses that love. I teach at the Nosara Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort up the street, and the amazing Nalu on Calle los Mangos across town. Have been here for fifteen years and am happy to share all things jungle!

Nosara and Playa Guiones are the best of Costa Rica with an unspoiled beach and an incredible community of surfers, yogis, nature lovers and others seeking a special experience. We have gained a global reputation as a conscious sustainable community, and love hosting people from all over the world. With recent mention in the New York Times, CNN, and National Geographic, Nosara has become a very much sought after destination!! this piece only continues to expand as Nosara and especially Guiones beach gains momentum and visibility around the world. This little town has indeed changed since we arrived here 20 years ago. However, the beach, which is the reason to choose us ( well, the underlying reason), is still protected. Still divine, and still 3 km of the most gorgeous waves, and sunsets you can imagine. Perfect for surfing, strolling and merging with what is Mother Nature's finest. And, we have monkeys that visit in the trees surrounding the wrap around deck.

This house is in K section, which is not commercial yet close to the beach. It is a short walk to the beach, 5-7 minutes, and we have two internet sources to stay connected. It is 5 minutes from the Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort, if you are taking classes there, and is a perfect space for socializing and entertaining. There is an 'energy' at Heartwaves that is like a luxurious tree house. The monkeys chat all day long, the birds grace the skies with sweet songs. Heartwaves gardens are spectacular, and the house is always surrounded by lush greens and vibrant colors. Since the two decks surrounds the big pool, the invitation to lounge outside is ever present. A large Bali Bed sits on the porch , and it's one piece that everyone wants to take home. The furniture is very comfortable, and we have a few comfy morroccan pouffes for extra seating and more lounging options. The beds also have extra pillows for reading and your total comfort.
