Once a week, one of our team members will stop by the property to put out the trash cans, replenish our supplies, and/or restock sheets and towels. They will NOT enter the home. They have access to the garage or shed with a code. This day may or may not fall during your stay.
Sunnyside is a walkable, historic neighborhood in Northwest Denver with easy access to major highways and public transportation. It has recently undergone a development resurgence, bringing in new restaurants and breweries. Exploring Denver and its stunning surroundings is made effortless with the convenience of a rental car or ride-share service. While Denver's public transportation system is dependable, it may not offer the same level of flexibility as having your own vehicle. To make the most of your stay, we recommend renting a car or using a ride-share service.
Want to bring your furry friend? $100 fee per dog, maximum two dogs only. Sorry, no cats permitted. The backyard is fully fenced, but please note the fence is not flush to the ground so smaller dogs and even motivated larger dogs could crawl out. Please always monitor your pets.
Please be aware that a medium sized dog lives in the main house and will be in the backyard at times.
Kindly note that smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited on the premises, including inside and outside the property and will result in a minimum fine of $1000.
The Carriage House is a private and separate unit located in the backyard of the main house, with its own entrance. Outdoor area is shared. Guests can easily park on the street in front of the property.
Please note that due to Denver zoning and permit regulations, the kitchenette is not equipped with a stove, cooktop, or oven. However, it is still fully equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and all necessary kitchen utensils and dishes for your convenience.

Cleanliness was great. Parking was a challenge as an elder in that it was on the street versus in the alley which I used in order to pack up to leave. The futon couch was extremely uncomfortable and hurt to sit on.

The location is near downtown Denver. my fiancé & I stayed there for about four days. The place is very comfy and relaxing. This is a back house, but the owner of the front house is very nice. The area has a lot of places to go to eat. the area was very quiet and there was a lot of space to park near the house. overall, the place was a 10 out of 10.

Bathroom sink didn't drain, lots of mold in the shower, practically dead houseplants in the window, cabinets and the only (very small) dresser were stuffed with junk so no place to put your own things, had to live out suitcases for three days. Also, condition doesn't match the pictures, which on VRBO make the place look far better than it is.

Overall this property served its purpose for us- it was clean, in a relatively safe feeling neighborhood, and was comfortable for the 4 nights we spent here! Our only complaint is how close the carriagehouse is to the main house and neighboring houses, which isn’t really shown in pictures. Otherwise my husband, dog, and I enjoyed our stay here and will likely keep this place in mind for future visits!

Cool space close to my parents
This is a great space for the spouse and I to crash at while visiting my parents in the neighborhood. It is quiet and comfortable and you feel like you do have your own little house in Denver. It is easy on and off the interstate but also close to downtown and so much that goes on in the area. Plus plus plus! It is dog friendly.

Beautiful guesthouse
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this wonderfully compact and efficient little house. There was no one in the main house during our stay so it was wonderfully private. We enjoyed sitting in the sun in the pretty backyard. Just a note: if you are looking for the fridge when you first walk in, it is behind the barn door that separates the living space from the bedroom. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Communication was excellent before, during and after the trip.
On Street parking was great.
Location was perfect, easy to get to highway, walk to breakfast at Bacon Social or Starbucks.
House was small but very accommodating. No stove/oven but had everything else. Bed was very comfortable.

We have stayed here a few other times. Its close to family which is fantastic. Its just a bit outside of downtown Denver and if you are ambitious you can walk there. The neighborhood is very walkable, i go everywhere on foot. There are 2 groceries 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. Yoga, coffee shops, parks, indie restaurants and boutiques all 1 to 15 minutes walking. The bus line is just up the street. You can just park it and go on little adventures from this sweet little home base.They keep it clean, but there is wear n tear that could be addressed. Its warm, light and airy. The coffee is Folgers. Expedia and VRBO are tedious to deal with but the property management team was very responsive.

Parking was easily accessible right in front of the property. Perfect location to eateries, breweries, stadiums, and the downtown area. Only 12 minutes from Red Rocks too.
