Wonderful!

Beautiful cabin. Extremely well stocked with a gorgeous view! Very well supplied and very responsive host. Well worth the somewhat steep drive in. Highly recommend it if you want a private location and peace and quiet.

AMAZING VIEW

GREAT LOCATION, SECOND BATHROOM UPSTAIRS IS TOO SMALL TO EVEN USE DUE TO THE PITCH IN THE ROOF, STRONG SMELL OF PROPANE LEAK SO COULDNT USE THE OUTDOOR PATIO AREA.

Thanks for the review, I had the gas company come by twice, they couldn't find a leak or smell, the two guest after you didn't smell anything either. Maybe it resolved itself or was the gas grill while you were using it, not sure. Thanks.

Not as advertised

1st is was listed as having air conditioning and it did not! Very hot with with an extremely low ceiling loft. You could not stand up straight in that bathroom. The basement they were remodeling! It had the 2nd full bath and it was dirty and had drywall dust everywhere the floor and fixtures. Asbestos was hanging down from the open ceiling.. After we has completely unloaded all our belongings to find the cabin in this condition we had to then return everything to our car ! We spent 2 and 1/ 2 hours on the phone with Verbo and finally we found another cabin ourselves and at 10pm that night and moved. We are still after a month still awaiting our repayment for the extra fees we had to pay to move!

God bless these people, they seemed lost, a travel agent maybe booked for them. They complained to the PM about things never listed or pictured(dressers, dishwasher, etc). Even made a comment about being “allergic to bugs”, strange for a rural outdoorsy trip. The cabin has an unfinished basement which is not listed or pictured, they claimed the photos they saw had a finished basement, even calling insulation "asbestos". They never once mentioned heat or A/C or even messaged me. High in the mountains is 10 degrees cooler, Sept. was low 70s and high 50s at night, we took the window A/C units down b/c they weren’t needed. We refunded their stay and easily booked up the month, their replacements reviewed the property just fine. Was so happy to see them leave, I wouldn’t recommend them as guest anywhere.

Cabin review

The house was very clean. Thank you Andrea! Otherwise the house was dumpy. Many things in disrepair. Broken glass globes on fan in Master bdroom. Broken chair outside.Outdoor steps and deck need paint. Broken bed frame in upstairs bedroom. Broken swing glider. No BBQ. Just some kind of hot plate that is rusting. No A/C. For eating utensils there was just one adult fork and the rest were like fondue forks. One steak knife. Refrigerator was missing a shelf. Loose stair banister. Also, a decaying tree came down VERY close to the driveway and the home. I sent Randall pictures and he didnt even respond. The rest of the tree is still standing but is very dangerous. Would not stay here again

Its so sad, for everything the cabin has to offer, its a broken globe on the fan, the type for grill, decaying tree 400 ft from the cabin that you focus on. We have window units A/C you didn't use because it was cool all May, I understand the goal of your review. Awesome Vacation!

We loved the cabin! High up on the mountain. The views from the back deck are spectacular! The cabin has everything you need. We only stayed in the master bedroom but upstairs looked nice as well. I would highly recommend if you want a relaxing and peaceful vacation in the mountains.

Spectacular View

What a view! It’s truly spectacular and we enjoyed watching the clouds move through the mountains in the mornings. The cabin has all of the mountain cabin details we were looking for. The checkin process was a little tricky as the door code didn’t work upon our arrival but we were able to contact the owner and find a work around. There were four of us staying at the cabin. I’d say it really works easier for two people as the second floor bedroom, while very spacious and comfortable, had a Harry Potter-style bathroom that was basically only suitable for very tiny people - not for those of us who are 6’ 2”. We had to use the very clean bathroom in the basement. The first floor bedroom and bath were quite nice. The other surprise was that the listing stated there was AC but there is not and we were there during warm, humid rainy days and it was not terribly comfortable to sleep in the evening despite the ceiling fans. The road is steep and twisty driving up but that’s part of the fun in staying in the mountains.

Great get away from heat

lovely 2 bedroom cabin, wonderful view of mountains from back deck. comfortable beds. adequate kitchen and outdoor griddle. really great to have table on back deck to see view while eating ..good shower in bathroom off main bedroom. Lots of nice restaurants in Waynesville and Maggie Valley. close to entrance for National Park. Lake Junalaska was great for dog walking

Hidden Gem With Amazing View

The cabin was perfect for a much needed get away for us! We had no big agenda when we got there and just were happy to veg at the cabin. Cabin was so clean and very well furnished. The view from the back deck was amazing! Randall was quick to get back with us when we had questions. Thanks for being Fur Baby friendly too! Highly recommend this beautiful gem of a cabin!

Hidden away in the mountains

The cabin was amazing and had everything we need. For us the cabin and the mountains were our destination and we relaxed on the porch, took walks along the road up the the house, and enjoyed the fireplace. We brought some wood but there was plenty thankfully since it was a snowy chilly weekend. If you want to relax and get away this is a Great place to do it.

Remote cabin with beautiful views

The cabin was a little hard to find, very narrow roads which we got used to being were from Minnesota. The cabin is very nice with a great fireplace. Everything is as stated on VRBO.

Very best Mountain View

We absolutely loved our time at the cabin. Very high up, quiet, and most beautiful views. The cabin is beautiful, my children loved the upstairs room and plenty of board games to play. Property manager was great, we had no issues but definitely knew he was just a email away. Thanks we will definitely be back!

Great family getaway!

Our family of four (plus dog) had a wonderful time here. The cabin is delightful- well stocked, clean, cozy. We enjoyed board games by the fire, coffee on the deck to watch the sunrise over the mountains (and caught the moon rising one night!!!). The towns nearby provided plenty of entertainment (tubing, hiking, good restaurants- you HAVE to eat at Pop’s Butts on the Creek!), and while the gravel drive was a tough, our SUV had no trouble with it.

I loved this cabin! It was perfect size for us, very warm & cozy! Love the decor, comfy couches, no complaints! We went to just veg & rest from life and the atmosphere this cabin created helped me to do that! not to mention the view was gorgeous & watching the sunrise from the back porch every morning was majestic!! The area its in is not touristy like Gatlinburg, but that was fine with me!! Hope we can come back again!

Magnificent views!

This beautiful home had everything we needed. The owner made sure we had all the wood chopped we would need for a very snowy 9 days. The heater in the home worked very well, we just wanted a fireplace going. The drive up was easy and very pretty. Thank you Randall for your easy communication and for sharing your lovely cabin!

Southern comfort and colors in the moutains.

This was my first time using Vrbo and will use again. Owner was quick to answer any questions I had before and during stay. Cabin was nicely furnished. Very clean. Bed very comfortable. Enjoyed the fireplace. Fur baby loved her bed. View was beautiful. (1st week of November). The loft would be great for another couple or children. FYI: There are stairs going into cabin, loft, and down to washer/dryer. This was not a problem for us. I would recommend this property.
