Welcome to Sun Kissed Cottage, your private vacation home near the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in beautiful St. Augustine Beach, Florida. This pet-friendly three-bedroom, two-bath private home with fenced-in side and back yard is comfortably furnished, and has everything you will need for your relaxing vacation. This location is in the historical St. Augustine, with the St. Augustine Lighthouse and the historical Fountain of Youth. There's lots of fishing, golfing, dining, shopping and nightlife if you are interested in leaving your private vacation paradise. For your entertainment free Wi-Fi, DVD/CD player and cable TV are available. A laundry room with washer and dryer is also conveniently located within your home, thus allowing for lighter packing.

Sun Kissed Cottage has ample off-street parking, with double door entry from the rear left side into an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with tile flooring. Upon entry immediately to the left is the dining area and kitchen, and straight ahead is the living area with bedrooms just beyond. The well-equipped kitchen has all you need to whip up a full course meal or just snacks. There's plenty of cabinets and granite countertops. Appliances are all stainless steel and include dishwasher, range with oven, built-in above-range microwave, and refrigerator/freezer with icemaker. A peninsular bar has two barstools adjacent to the dining area, which has a dining table seating four with window overlooking the rear patio area. The adjacent living area has a sleeper sofa with end table and coffee table on an area rug, a recliner, cocktail table with lamp, overstuffed chair, ceiling fan and opposite the sofa area is a credenza above which is a wall-mounted large flat screen TV. Just outside the living area through double doors is the paved and fenced in patio area with gas grill, patio dining table and lounge chairs.

At bedtime the primary bedroom with ceiling fan is furnished with a queen-size bed, nightstand and lamp, chest of drawers, wall-mounted large flat screen TV and corner chair and bench. The en suite bathroom touts a nicely tiled walk-in shower, vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath. All linens and towels are provided! The second bedroom also has a ceiling fan and is nicely furnished with a queen-size bed, nightstands and lamps, corner chests and wall-mounted large flat screen TV. The third guest bedroom has a single day bed with area rug, dresser with lamp, 4-drawer chest, ceiling fan and wall-mounted large flat screen TV. All bedrooms have wood flooring, and share a guest bathroom.

Very charming home. Definitely fit our needs for the Labor Day weekend. Rooms were ery comfortable and the living area open for family gatherings. The home could use a little clean up in back yard to make it more suitable for the pets to play. Location was fabulous. A stones through away from the beautiful Butler Beach. A short 10 minute drive to Old Downtown which features incredible history, restaurants and shops. Overall, great home and stay while visiting St. Augustine. The yellow cottage is a very good choice.

The amenities, fenced yard were covered in 18" of winter residual debris, patio table and chairs so dirty unable to utilize. VTrip management took 3 days to address, and really didn't matter as debris continued to accumulate throughout the 12 night stay. And the fenced "yard", is not yard, patio with other area covered with large red rock, unstable to walk on, and dogs refused to walk on it, uncomfortable to their paws. Both double sized beds terribly worn and uncomfortable.The other interior parts of the home comfortable, kitchen fully stocked for all cooking. Gas grill although older, was in perfect cooking condition. Question the "3 blocks to the beach, more like 4-5 blocks. Would not consider return visit, unless issues noted above addressed.

Perfect quiet family beach spot

Everything you need for a quiet and relaxing family beach vacation. Beach a very short walk and park right across the street. Issue with kitchen sink solved promptly by management.

The property is ok but it’s located right off A1A which is the main road up there and it was like sleeping on the side of a highway just thought ppl Should know because I’m a light sleeper and I couldn’t sleep and the place is good but needs new furniture and a good cleaning.

Lacks the Ammenities

Sunkissed Cottage is in a great location and is nicely decorated. It lacked the basic amenities, not even welcome water or a coffee bar, we ran out of toilet paper and the place could use a fresh coat of paint and a deep cleaning! Basic bare-bones cable, we rent a lot of vacation homes and this one lacks attention to detail, that is what brings repeat renters!

Very clean!

This property was very clean and as far as the updates on house itself was wonderful! The furniture needs replacing and the channels on tv were nothing to chose from. Walking distance to beach if you have a wagon or carry all. When we got there the grass was in desperate need of mowing since we had our fur baby with us and ants in the back. They mowed and sprayed for ants! Impressive! I emailed a few questions to the company that we rented from and they didnt get back. All in all, would we stay here again, absolutely!! Thank you to all!!

Cute cottage: steps to beach; short drive St. Augustine

Cute and clean cottage sleeps 4 adults and 1 single person/child comfortably. 2 full baths, indoor dinette table for 4 and 2 seats at bar (kitchen counter/bar). Enjoyed sitting out back on the patio every night and morning. 4 Adirondacks were comfortable; wish there was a table and chairs to eat outside. But outdoors was very pleasant with shade from the large oaks. Fenced so the pups could wander about. Location is convenient: less than 5 minute walk to the beautiful, sugary sand beach (which is pet- friendly). About 18 minute drive into downtown St. Augustine. There is also a park across the street with jungle gym and swings for kids. Large grassy areas to walk the dogs. To the owners, only things missing were lighter for grill (luckliy we brought 1), salt/pepper (most places have some spices and foil/ plastic wrap left behind from other rentors)-- but maybe not now due to Covid?? Lastly, cleaning fee was high compared to other properties we viewed. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our time, thank you!

Clean pet friendly beach house

This sunny yellow house was so perfect for our week away on vacation. It’s close to the beach. It was very clean. Zero smells (some other places that are pet friendly people had noted that they smelled. This place did not smell at all.) I loved having the backyard be fenced in. It was so easy to bring our dogs with us. I love that the window in the dining room opens up to the backyard. We used it as a doggy drive thru window and fed them treats through it while they enjoyed the outdoors. There are bikes in the shed. The tires looked well worn. We didn't try them but appreciated that they were available. There’s also plenty of places nearby to rent bikes from too if this is important to you. This unit has a washer and dryer in the kitchen. Had tons of dishes, silverware, pots, pans etc. A few leftover spices in the cabinet to the right of the stove. Both kinds of coffee makers- keurig style and coffee ground full pot style. It was perfect. Nice and quiet. The street out front can be quite busy during daylight hours but it’s not that loud for us. One of the mattresses was very soft. I know mattress preference varies so I’m sure that works for some and not for others. All mattresses were on the softer side. We’ll be back again. 5/5 recommend. Thanks for a wonderful place to relax.

St Augustine beach time

The property was as described. Some confusion with the entry code as I was given one from the off-site main office and one from the local representative. The local representative was helpful. Appreciated the kitchen with all it’s equipment and gas grill outside as we found fresh local fish and seafood, barbecued in several nights using the backyard area. My wishes for this space is that there were screens in the windows so they could opened without fear of bugs and little lizards, an outdoor dining table and some cheap usable beach chairs. The beach is a short three blocks away and pet friendly. The house is located on a main road. There is road noise, but not objectionable. Downtown St Augustine was very congested with traffic and tourists. The history and architecture is fascinating. Staying 15 minutes out of town was a good idea for us.

St Augustine Visit

Overall things were great. Location was wonderful. Unit was clean and decorated beautifully. Concerns were that the unit is not large enough for 7 adults. This was due to the fact that the sofa bed mattress was in absolute horrible condition and needs to be replaced. Other mattresses were also in rough shape. There was not enough seating for 7 adults. Outside lighting did not work at all. Looked like a motion detector light B.ut did not work at all so parking area was very dark and was afraid some of our party might fall. As our 1st rental was cancelled by VASCASA within 2 weeks of our visit it was a suitable replacement and were happy overall.

Quiet little cottage by the beach

This was a great little cottage for us to stay at for the holiday weekend. St. Augustine was quite packed downtown so it was nice to have a place a little bit away from the crowds. Everything in the place was clean and modern and our dog was able to run around and enjoy the fenced yard. Great stay!
