One of Folly’s Best! The Surf Shack is a very cozy beach house hidden behind beautiful live oaks. Just a quick walk to the beach you will find everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Enjoy the sand and the sun during the day then come back and relax at night around the outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs and twinkling outdoor lighting. This beach house vacation rental features two bedrooms and one bath providing ample space for sun-seeking guests on the screened in porch or the outdoor deck. The Surf Shack is your private oasis right in the middle of Folly Beach. 1 block away from the sand and 2 blocks from Bert’s Market for all your needs. Leave refreshed and with memories and plans for a quick return. Surf Shack allows only 1 well-behaved, house-broken, flea-treated dog with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dog when you inquire.

Perfect October get away

The surf shack was a great place to stay for a short vacation. The dog loved it and it was quaint, clean and easy to get to the best that folly has to offer. We would absolutely visit again.

Surf shack vacation

LOVED the surf shack. Perfect size for our family. Steps from the ocean. Close enough to Folly amenities and restaurants to walk but far enough to keep some distance during noisy weekend nights. A perfect oasis we are still dreaming about. We will be back! Thanks for a great stay.

The proximity to the beach is wonderful and we had everything we needed for our two nights. Beds were comfortable and the management company was attentive. Parking was easy and the key-less entry worked well. We would go back.

The Shack is easy walking to the beach and to shops and restaurants. It was very clean and there were no problems. We didn't use the yard, but there is a fire pit, shower and deck.

Perfect for our family

Great location - steps away from the beach, easy walk to Berts, easy walk to all the restaurants downtown Folly, and still feels quiet and secluded. The oak tree adds so much to the property, giving it that old island feel. House was well appointed and our family of 3 had no issues having only one bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

Weekend getaway at Folly Beach and Charleston

We had a wonderful few days on Folly Beach! The Surf Shack is a lovely home, well-appointed, and was perfect for our stay. It’s conveniently located for walking to the beach, local restaurants and shopping! Folly Beach is a short trip from Charleston for sight-seeing and world class restaurants. The Host, Greg, was very attentive and responsive to my emails and questions before, and during, our stay. We can’t wait to return for another vacation.

Wonderful getaway!

We loved the screened porch for Happy Hour, listening to the waves rolling in, then as it got darker, the crickets. Very private and surrounded by a beautiful oak and palms. Our only wish was that the shower was bigger.

Sisters weekend!

This property is on the main road but I did not hear the traffic while in the house! Just a block from the beach and 3 blocks from the main intersection on the island. Loved the Jack and Jill bathroom with the bedrooms. Great little weekend getaway! Thank you so much!

Clean, comfortable and convenient!

Great location, close to the public access to the beach. The beach house was clean and the bed comfortable. Great place for a couple or small family. Close to the center of Folly Beach with restaurants. The kitchen was adequately equipped, but a little sparse with staples. Be sure to bring your own coffee filters, napkins and whatever spices you need for cooking. Or, just enjoy the restaurants close by.

Perfect location!

This is the cutest little cottage and a perfect location on Folly. There are lots of nice windows and a screen porch. The house is decorated comfortably and is very clean. A side note: The floors are uneven and almost wavy in places which is very difficult for someone who suffers from vertigo but if that doesn’t apply to you, they are original and in an original surf cottage that is charming.
