VERY private, real log cabin with hot tub!
Escape to the rustic charm of Luttrell Lodge - your private mountain retreat! We are a very private true log cabin on a dead-end road bordering over 100 acres of forest. BBQ on expansive deck surrounded by trees, new hot tub, real stone wood-burning fireplace and an oversized desk for remote work! If you're looking for an authentic mountain cabin experience, you found it. Short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and only ~20 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance!
THE SPACE
If you’re looking for a rustic, private, unique log cabin deep in the mountains, with almost no neighbors and surrounded by nature, then you’ve come to the right place! This is the mountain cabin vacation experience you've been looking for.
We have a master bedroom upstairs with a half-bath, plus another bedroom and full bath downstairs. You will have all the amenities you need including central heat/AC, WiFi (200 mbps), washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. We also have a dedicated workspace with an oversized desk for working professionals.
The real stone wood burning fireplace is amazing! Enjoy some hot chocolate and a book as you soak in the warmth. Take some R&R in the hot tub under the Gazebo, or with a cup of coffee on the large deck overlooking the trees. Have some friendly competition with the Hook and Ring game or create your own cabin with the Lincoln Logs. You'll never want to leave!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Our cabin is deep in the mountains. Therefore you may have bugs, mice, mosquitoes and all such stuff associated with being in the woods. We have a monthly pest control service that keeps most critters out of the interior, but some inevitably find a way to sneak in on occasion.
Black bears frequent the area, and you may also see wild turkey or deer during your stay.
Apologies if you find some of our outdoor furniture damaged during your stay - the bear cubs can be quite destructive, and birds find very interesting places to lay nests sometimes!
As you near our cabin the roads become hilly, winding and narrow. May be difficult if you haven't driven mountain roads before. Use caution.
WINTER MONTHS: Our roads do get salted and serviced by snow plows, but you may still sometimes experience icy conditions in the winter. If there is snow or a storm passes through before or during your stay, 4-wheel drive is recommended. Check weather conditions as necessary.
GUEST ACCESS
Access to the entire cabin, except the owners closet.
GUEST INTERACTION
We can always be reached via message, call or text. Check us out on our new Insta @luttrell_lodge :)
THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
We are conveniently located in-between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg/Smoky Mountains National Park. There is only 1 neighboring property and it's across the street behind some trees. The cabin is surrounded by woods and bordering 100+ acres of forest. A rare find.
There is plenty to do in the surrounding area and we provide a welcome manual at the cabin with all our favorite experiences and restaurants. Feel free to ask us anything leading up to your trip, we would love to help you plan your stay!

Zu Gast bei Kevin and Hilary Luttrell
Welcome to Luttrell Lodge! We are so happy to host you in our peaceful, wooded paradise! We became owners in August of 2021 and we look forward to providing an authentic cabin experience for our guests in our slice of secluded woods. We hope our guests will enjoy some time here relaxing and creating memories for many years to come. The cabin was one of the first built in the area and is a real log cabin, inside and out! Please make yourself at home and enjoy!
A bit about us:
We are California natives and plan to move to Tennessee in the next couple years. We are thinking the Chattanooga area!
We are a family of 4 with 2 young sons and a German Shepherd named Denali (after the mountain in Alaska, not the truck).
Hilary has been to 32 countries and is now trying to visit every national park! She worked as an Executive Assistant for CEOs before becoming a full-time mama.
Kevin has been in the mortgage business for 10+ years! He wants to be able to retire early to be with his family more and the cabin is part of the plan, thanks for helping make our dreams come true!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
We fell in love with the property because it's so unique. The privacy and peace available at the cabin is just so rare, even for vacation rentals. We love to travel and love the seclusion here - It's so refreshing for us, coming from crammed California!
