So sorry about the slow drain in our historic 88 years old cabin, we wish you had called us about it as our handyman is usually only minutes away and would have remedied the situation. I am not sure who you reached out to regarding the pest issue, but we have a yearly contract with Ehrlich Pest Control to handle any pest-related issues. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. I appreciate your feedback and will work to ensure that this issue is resolved promptly to prevent it from happening again in the future. Ahmad, Our A Cabin By The Stream is a vintage, built in the 1930’s, over 85 year old cabin. I am sorry you expected newer construction, but it was stated in the description. I truly wish you had called us so we would have had the chance to make you happy. I have called you but you do not seem to answer your phone. Everything else seemed to go great for you and your guests. We hope you will return and as always feel free to contact us. For those who have difficulty doing steps, it is a challenge to reach the second floor bedroom area without the aid of a hand railing. Kaitlyn - July 2022 - We enjoyed our stay at The Cabin by the Stream. It is close to Cherry Springs, some beautiful hiking and some other cool sites mentioned in the listing. Very calming atmosphere listening to the fire crackle next to the stream with a beautiful star filled sky. Stephanie - June 2022 - My family and I (husband, 5 year old and infant) enjoyed our stay at the Cabin by the Stream this week. As others have mentioned, having a few toys, games and puzzles there was really nice. I really appreciated all the lamps that perfectly brightened things up inside as well as all the towels. There were two nightlights upstairs that we appreciated as well. For parents of young kids, it was great that the stairs were so quiet and the upstairs floor had minimal creaking! My son loved napping upstairs, and it’s normally a struggle to get him to nap, especially away from home. We used the AC a bit. The instructions on the fridge were simple and helpful. I loved the glider out front by the creek. The plentiful chairs by the fire were great, and that giant rock was so nice for prepping stuff to cook outside. There were lots of cute touches in the semi-rustic, pretty clean cabin! We met Chris on one of the days and he was great to talk to. He recommended Cream N Sugar for ice cream-what a cute little shop! Thank you for a nice stay! Patrick - May 2022 - Pleasant, remote, quiet, well worth our stay. Daniel - April 2022 - Family vacation with three kids, 2, 8 and 10 - Location was perfect for the kids, all three enjoyed the creek so much, little one obviously needed supervising. Cabin was decorated beautifully inside and made for a very cozy stay - Everything we needed for the stay was provided, ranging from creek toys for the kids too cookware for preparing family meals. Heating options provided for a comfortable April stay and everybody slept well in the sleeping arrangements. Coudersport is nearby and provided all the essentials we needed with amazing service (everyone is especially friendly), from affordable eats (Cream 'n Sugar had a great lunch menu), to great grocery store options. We bought our firewood from Best Buy Surplus foods, the firewood was seasoned well and started straight away. Nearby we found the PA lumber museum which was a great surprise - kids enjoyed this very much. If we're in the area again would definitely seek out Cabin by the creek. Thanks Chris!!
