The Waikiki Sunset has long been a favorite of savvy vacationers who enjoy the best of both worlds!
This elegant condominium hotel resort located at 229 Paoakalani Avenue in Waikiki offers hotel-quality amenities and is perfect for your anniversary, honeymoon or family getaway! From this convenient location, you can stroll to Waikiki’s finest beaches, enjoy great shopping and restaurants, visit the Zoo, Aquarium or relax in the lush green spaces of Kapi’olani Park.

This one bedroom condo has a full kitchen, large bathroom, high speed WiFi, and LCD television.
From your private lanai you can gaze out over the city and mountains during the day, and watch the vibrant city lights of Honolulu come alive at night.

The sleeping arrangements are very convenient with a comfortable king bed in the private bedroom, and a full sofa sleeper in the living room.

Waikiki Sunset amenities include a heated swimming pool, sauna, and outdoor picnic area with barbecue grills. There is also an on-site convenience store for last minute necessities, 24-hour security and an activities desk to help plan your island adventures.

Everything was clean and as described! Loved the location, the pool and ease of this property. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped, if a bit sparse. Look forward to our next stay!

I love to cook, so most of all I appreciated the high quality cookware (like new). A baking sheet/lasagna pan wouldve been nice. There were lots of dishes and towels so we didn't have to spend all our vacay time cleaning up.

This was the perfect base of operation for a recent business trip. Great location, great amenities, and a clean, comfortable, well-appointed unit. The free parking was a terrific bonus. The best part was the breathtaking mountain views during sunrise and sunset. Highly recommend!

Great location and walking distance to everything in Waikiki. Parking included so that saves you a bundle. Would definitely recommend staying there. We will probably do the same.

Me and my husband and mom enjoyed this beautiful stay, with big windows and a fantastic view and balcony. We had walking distance to Waikiki and there were lots of stores and restaurants near us. The host was friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

Convenient location

The room was clean and adequate. The view of the mountain was lovely. Nice kitchen. Appreciated there were lots of towels. The main bed was great but the hideaway bed in the couch was just ok. So pleased to have had parking at all times in this busy city.

Amazing !!

Just want to start off by saying the view was incredible. Very clean, spacious, we had easy access to so many things. Parking was simple didn’t have to worry about paying for parking. Over it’s a great place to stay. Definitely retuning back here on our next trip.

Fantastic view of the mountains, proximity to Waikiki beach but also to less crowded beaches nearby. Mart in the building is a big plus. Altogether everythining you need to enjoy Honolulu.

Great Location

The apartment was comfortable and in a great location; close to beach and diamond head, great view of the mountain, and next to zoo. The hallways had a smell and carpeting in hallway of complex is in need of cleaning or replacement.

Convenient, simple clean place to stay

Free parking, no frills, easy access and check-in. Unit/building is a little older but everything works as new. Unit was clean, bed very comfy, AC worked great... The power was out for a couple hours and host was very attentive, it was in the middle of the night, so not too big of a deal. Would book again as we travel to Waikiki at least once a year.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We travelled as a family of four and felt there was a ton space. The view was amazing. The king size bed was so comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Old but ok

The property is older and feels quite dated. But is close to everything, Waikiki beach, the zoo, Diamond head etc. good location.

Nice place

Overall, I'd say I was satisfied. The location was terrific and the place had everything a family needs. The only complaint, and i hate calling it that, is the age of the building. It really shows. It needs updating

Ok stay

View from room is great. Smells little musty . 5 minute walk to beach. Lots of shops and restaurants walking distance. If you rent a car you have to exit the parking garage first then you have to take keys and parking pass up to the room😩

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the great view from your room and that you found the location to be convenient with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants within walking distance. However, we are sorry to hear that you experienced a musty smell in your room. We will certainly look into this matter and work to improve the air quality in our rooms to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay. The parking pass does need to stay in the room when you leave, but that is much better than having to pay for parking or find street parking nearby. Mahalo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being a couple of blocks from the beach made it easy. The small restaurant s we used within a short walk had the best food ever with a great variety to choose. The condo on the 30rd floor was quiet with a wonderful mountainview and the balcony was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktail.The condo accommodations were good with a king bed, sofa pullout, full kitchen and AC. I plan to return next Xmas.
