Welcome to Mavericks Corner, where Ponderosa meets the modern west. Take a step back in time to the good ol` days while enjoying the modern amenities of today. This conveniently located cabin and bunk house is equipped with everything you will need for your Montana adventures. In the main house guests will enjoy (2) bedrooms each with a queen bed and one having a TV. The third bedroom holds twin bunk beds. There is a shared full sized bathroom for all guests to use. If you choose to cook a meal at the fully stocked kitchen, or take advantage of the outdoor BBQ, Mavericks Corner has everything you need to satisfy your most hungry.



Those buckaroos staying in the bunk house will get to experience the open floor plan layout with two queen beds, living area and mini-kitchen equipped with a Coffee pot, microwave and mini fridge. Guests will also have a shared full sized bathroom with a combo bath tub/shower. Brew up a hot cup of coffee or a steaming cup of tea and enjoy it on the deck as the sun comes up and you and your guests make plans for your day's activities.



Our favorite part of this property is the hot tub. Whether you are coming home after a long day of hiking or a full day on the slopes, kick off your boots, grab a plastic glass of wine and relax and unwind in the hot tub and tell tall tales of your day's adventures.

Cute cute clean stay

Absolutely impeccable condition. Our first experience with VRBO and the property itself was just wonderful. There is a 24 hour convenience store next door that was terribly loud and made it very hard to sleep in the property. Other than that you couldn't ask for more.

house was probably one of the worst houses I’ve stayed in. bungalow only locks from the inside, so you are ok while you sleep but you have to move your stuff into the main house if you want to go out during the day. There is tape covering the door knobs in the bungalow.bathroom light is the only one that worked in the bungalow also there is a part of the wall that is broken & crumbling & there is back splash stuff for the bathtub that was never completed also There are only 1 set of curtains, leaving 5 windows & 1 full length glass door open for anyone to look inside. looked under the beds in the bungalow to look for my son’s cup & found garbage under one bed & dishes under the other. That leads me to the outside.there was technically a fence, it wasn’t a great fence. The larger gate was held up by a prayer. During the night when it was a little windy the gate blew off & hit the ground.outside there was broken glass in the yard & more garbage from previous tenants. On the porch of the main house there was old bird poop all by the front door from a bird that has been long gone, my dad cleaned it up.in the main house There were only screens on probably two windows so no one felt safe to leave their window open at night to get cool air, so it got very hot & uncomfortable. Then the bathroom sink, one handle completely falls off.The heat was also on when we got there making the house unbearably hot inside.The only thing I liked is the location & size of yard.

Right across Busy/ Loud gas station/ not comfy

While the owner of this property is kind and responsive and this property had a spacious yard/ hot tub there are many negatives. This is my first review but have stayed many places in Red Lodge, so bare with me. There is a very busy and bright town pump RIGHT across from the home. We slept terrible as there are no curtains in the the guest house so the lights shown right in and people driving through the station were loud. Lots of people partying through the ally as well. The sidewalks to the home were not shoveled or de -iced AT ALL. My husband had to do that after my 10 year old slipped and fell. Ok fine, maybe they are elderly owners. The doors were all unlocked which made me nervous. The extra guest house doesn’t even lock with a key so you cannot secure your things when you leave. There is not a working deadbolt to lock at night either so I did not feel safe with all the people about all night and not a secure fence around the property. Parts of it are held up with posts propped on the ground. The overall cleanliness was not good. Coffee or dirt splatters were all over the walls and under all the furniture was SO dusty and gross. We found so many peoples trash left about that I lost count. There were several light bulbs out that we changed. Also, and this was sort of the kicker for us, if you are looking for a cozy place to sit around and play games or watch a movie while you have some beers, look elsewhere. The couch is a joke, not even close to comfortable and maybe fits 3 people. There is an oversized matching chair that is comfy but only for one person. We spent our time uncomfortable around the dining table. Just not even close to enough comfortable seats to relax, and when you’re on vacation that’s the goal.

Without guest feedback, such as yours, we are unable to make necessary improvements for future guest stays. The home is newer to our portfolio and we have not had the detailed feedback like you have provided from other guests. We will be able to take this information and make improvements for the future. Additionally, Mother Nature has not been kind to us as of late. We have had to face things like several wind events (clocked at 80+mph) causing damage to many properties (and not be able to be fixed until spring) and temperature fluctuations that are conducive to icy conditions. Please know that your comments are taken very seriously by us and appreciated.

Red Lodge

This was the perfect house for our two families. A yard to play in, walking distance from downtown, and great in door space. We had a blast and will certainly return when we get a chance.
