Our second visit to an incredible home

This small one bedroom home was perfect for our couple getaway. With a pool and shady porch to hang out. Right on the stream where the turtles nest. (Our only disappointment was the stream was cloudy due to mud from recent rains.). The house has been thoughtfully updated and was well stocked with quality items in kitchen and bath. Couldn't have been nicer!!

Lovely Oceanside Homoe

We enjoyed our stay at Honu Hale. The location was fantastic. Home was sparkling clean. Downsides: Had to contact host for access info as it wasn't provided per the listing detail, pool and hot tub did not heat or have circulation for first 3 days. Hot tub began working on the 4th day. We were not offered any reimbursement for this major feature not working. On our last day of a 6 night stay, the owner began texting my cell phone at 8 am to ask if the hot tub heat was working and remind us of checkout procedures. Checkout was set at 1030 per the agreement, However, the owner texted at 10 am that her cleaners were there and they were wondering when we'd be leaving. I texted back at 1030 am. While this exchange was happening the cleaners came into the gated home area and began bringing in cleaning supplies and wiping furniture while we were attempting to enjoy our last 30 minutes at the turtle overlook. I said something to them and they went back out to their car. As we left, they stood in the center of the street staring at us as we drove away. A disappointing start with the hot tub/pool not working, followed by a fabulous stay, only to have the lovely experience marred at the very end.

Dancing turtles

What a spectacular Venue. Everything was amazing, specially the turtles in the cove dancing with each other while the Mother was watching. Everything is super close. Poipu beach is a quarter Mile or less away, and you can access Waimea Bally very easily. I am planning to return to this property in the future.

Take advantage of all the south side has to offer sun, water, and cool breezes from the privacy of our secluded home. This property is right in the heart of Poipu so you can enjoy fine dinning, shopping, snorkeling, surfing, walking/running, and so much more just minutes from home; however, it is completely gated and offers guests the privacy and seclusion they desire. Our home boasts one of the deepest pools on the island with attached jacuzzi and private outdoor bar area with flat screen tv. Steps leading down from the pool area lead directly to the edge of turtle bay.

A five minute stroll down the residential street takes you to a small beach access perfect for kids and walking. Poipu beach is just down the road as well with some of the best snorkeling on the island.
