Welcome to your private rainforest retreat. This newly renovated 300 sq. ft. Queen Suite is tucked into lush tropical surroundings, offering a peaceful, nature-immersed escape just 10 minutes from the beach.

Located in the lower level of a duplex, the suite features one bedroom, one bathroom, and a spacious enclosed porch that serves as a cozy living area with kitchenette. Recently updated in calming gray-blue tones, the space feels fresh, serene, and perfectly aligned with its jungle setting.

Floor-to-ceiling tri-fold doors open to a Juliet balcony overlooking dense rainforest canopy. It’s common to see toucans, monkeys, and even sloths in the trees. Enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the hammock while listening to the sounds of nature all around you.

Yosue was welcoming and helped us get our bags up to our room. It was a beautiful setting and we enjoyed watching the Scarlet Macaws fly by everyday. We also enjoyed the antics of 10-12 Squirrel Monkeys on the wires in front of our room daily.

Yosué was an amazing host, responded quickly to all my questions and checked on my friend and I the entire stay. He helped with booking any fun excursions throughout the trip and made sure to check in after. I was very nervous at first since it was my first time alone out of the country, but everyone was so friendly around the area. The place has absolutely stunning views especially the restaurant Agua above. The pictures don’t do it justice definitely enough space for four friends if needed. I can’t wait to come back. Home away from home

Our stay was terrific - waking up to the sounds of the howler monkeys followed by layers of bird songs was amazing! We loved our compact apartment that provided everything we needed. Having access to buses, taxis, beach routes was great. So much diversity all in one place. The Manual park tours is a must along with Finca Rocio coffee and spice tour. Both made our stay that much more culturally enriching!

Walk to everything g , close to bus to beach and Quepos, distant water view and the pool right across the lane was super clean and relaxing. Cozy apartment with great views

This property is a gem. Pictures do not do the place justice. The location is great and felt safe, very walkable to many good restaurants and supermarkets. My kids really enjoyed the pool. Joshua the host was very responsive and helped us book a tour and allowed for an earlier check in! Would happily stay here again if we are back in town. For those travelling with younger kids, the apartment does get a lot of light, and they woke up at 6 every day.

Great location, mediocre room.

After confirming we had an ocean view, we arrived to discover that it was a view mostly blocked by trees and plants. The room had a musty moldy smell. The shower water pressure was weak. Bed mattress was comfy. Small Kitchen was fine for two people who only needed it for breakfast. With AC running at night , it was quiet for sleep. Location was fantastic, very near terrific restaurants and a very easy 5 min bus ride to beach. Host Geralyn was ready available via WhatsApp.

I am glad you enjoyed some of the recent renovations to our place, such as updating 2 AC units which feature dehumidifiers, installing a new kitchenette and bringing memory foam toppers from the U.S. I didn't realize the foliage had grown so much since I was there. I have followed up with the HOA to open up the view by clearing some trees. At times, homes in the area get a bit musty, because of our rainforest location. Typically opening the sliders or putting on the de-humidifier refreshes the space.

Wonderful stay!

This apartment is in the perfect location in Manuel Antonio as long as you don’t mind driving or taking a taxi to the beach. You technically can walk but phew it’s hot there! It has tons of restaurants and shops walking distance and you‘re away from the crazy busy beaches. The apartment is nicely stocked with everything you’ll need if you want to cook. Definitely set up the hammock in the living room. I’m now questioning why every house doesn’t have a hammock in the living room! The pool is amazing! Warm and clean. I spent hours there looking at the sloths, monkeys, and birds that live in the trees behind it. My only complaint has nothing to do with the apartment. I didn’t consider the fact that it was spring break for Easter and that in Costa Rica the week before is considered Holy Week so not only were there a ton of tourists there was also a ton of locals coming for their spring break. I read ahead of time that Manuel Antonio was crowded but this added to it and boy was the beach overly crowded the entire stay. But the vibes were great, and everyone was in a fantastic mood, which led to a very festive atmosphere. If you go to Manuel, Antonio, national park, heed the warnings and park down by the park entrance. They will try to get you to start parking up where the beach starts telling you that you can’t drive to the park which is not true. You’ll end up walking over a kilometer in the heat just to get to the park if you listen to them, just keep driving until you can’t drive anymore and there’s a parking lot right in front of the park. Overall this was a fantastic end to my trip in Costa Rica!!

The only negative was the harsh blue lighting in the apartment. Otherwise, the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, the pool was clean and the location was great. It was an expensive area to stay in, but it had everything you need. The concierge Yosué was very helpful.

Horrific

Almost no element of the original description contained an ounce of truth. There is no sea view. The pool is not in use. The beach is not close - it is down a mountain and u need a bus or taxi to get there. I really cannot comprehend what they mean by “recently renovated” as everything inside is decades old. Also, this is not an apartment but more like a cave - a balcony and some old room converted. It is dark. It is moldy. No room to prepare anything in kitchen. 1 spoon. Plastic crockery. ! Lol u cant make this up. Inhuman, indecent, uncivilised. An animal could not live in it.

As with many premium hillside locations, access to the beach involves a descent and is commonly reached by a short drive or taxi, which is clearly outlined prior to booking. The home itself is intentionally designed to reflect the character and charm of the area, and recent updates have been made in line with that aesthetic. It is not presented, nor marketed, as a newly built modern unit, and we encourage all guests to review the photos carefully to ensure alignment with their preferences. We also want to acknowledge that we responded promptly to your concerns throughout your stay and ultimately issued a refund as a gesture of goodwill—despite the property being delivered as advertised. While we respect that the home may not have suited your personal expectations, we stand fully behind the accuracy of our listing and the experience it consistently provides to our guests.

Ideal Location

From booking to arriving the communication with Geralyn was good. Our location suited our needs in Manuel Antonio. It was convenient for main road access, groceries, National Park and some beaches via car. The pool was a nice bonus. Geralyn helped us book wonderful tours. Villa 14 Down

Awesome stay at Villa Vista Mar/Villa Parque. The villa was perfect for my family....2 adults and 2 kids (age 8 and 11). The daybed/trundle worked well for them! I appreciated the cookware, hot plate and dishes so that we could eat in and save money. 14 down is super close to the swimming pool which was another plus! Geralyn the concierge was instrumental in making this trip successful! Thank you Steve and Renee for the stay! We had a blast and cant wait to come back. Would stay here again and again!!

Perfect location!

We enjoyed our stay here immensely! The apartment was located a short 5 minute drive from the gorgeous beach and just a couple of minutes from great restaurants. Although there was no easy way to see the ocean from our windows we enjoyed the quiet of not being at a traditional resort. The pool was nice at the end of the day. Overall, we were very pleased with this charming place to stay in beautiful Manuel Antonio!
