The Blue Mirage is the perfect rental home in rancho mirage. Stuart and Darcy are excellent hosts. Their home is beautiful but they are also very responsive to any needs or questions you may have. The backyard is as amazing as the inside of the home! It’s close to the River, El Paseo, about 20minutes from PSP, and close to so many other activities, you can get to hiking trails in 5 minutes with breathtaking views, I would highly recommend The Blue Mirage! 10/10

Incredible!

I could just sum it up as perfect. Driving in, the neighborhood is gorgeous, quiet, and a great location. Enter the house and it is more beautiful than the pictures show. Everything was so clean and bright and open and draws you to the fabulous back yard and pool. Then oh my gosh the views! And all the different places to sit, lounge, and view from. Then to top it all off, it's so mid century modern! Everything you need is there and the host really makes you feel welcome! I am so happy I chose Blue Mirage and highly recommend it.

Blue Mirage retreat

We had a fantastic month at the Blue Mirage. Dealing with Darcy and Stu was very easy with the few questions that we had. Their home was immaculately clean on our arrival. The quiet, location was central to shopping and restaurants. The home is a Mid Century Modern gem that has been completely renovated, almost like brand new. The private yard, pool, spa, and outdoor BBQ are also beautifully done. Lots of birds around including hummingbirds. that nested on the cactus outside our window. We were lucky to have two little eggs hatch and the new babies fly away while the grandchildren were visiting. All in all, one of the best homes that we have had the pleasure of renting in our years of coming to the desert. We'd love to come back

Exceeds Expectations

This home exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully appointed, clean, well equipped and designed to flow seamlessly between the indoors and outdoors. Views of the surrounding mountains and xeriscaping create deeper connection to place. We enjoyed daily walks through the neighborhood viewing other mid-century modern homes and trying to identify the many birds (including roadrunners) who flit between flowing bushes, palm trees and cacti. The airport and downtown Palm Springs are easy to get to with other shopping and restaurants withing walking distance or a short drive. Joshua Tree National Park is about an hour drive and makes for an excellent day trip. The Rancho Mirage library, a 20 minute walk from the home, offers a free 30 day library card as well as an onsite "bookstore" with paperbacks for 50 cents and hardcovers for $1; books perfect for poolside reading. There is also an observatory at the library with plenty of programs to partake in. We had such a lovely, relaxing time at this property. Thank you to our excellent hosts. We hope to return one day.

Mirage Magic

We loved our stay at Mirage .It is in great position handy to restaurant and shops and golf courses. Great sunny back where you have wonderful sunrise and sunset. The house was exceptionally clean and tidy and had comfortable beds. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The perfect home for a Desert getaway!

Everything from the moment we reserved the home to the day we checked out was outstanding. Updated, mid century architecture with every homey touch you can think of. Owners are exceptional communicators, and have really paid attention to every detail to make working remotely or a vacation experience work. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill, pool side seating, fire pit with chairs all made the outside of the home as welcoming as the inside. The house is set in a charming and quiet neighborhood of Rancho Mirage with gorgeous mountains as a backdrop. It is centrally located to shops, restaurants, El Paseo, golf courses, Hiking, Farmers Markets, etc. we truly loved the location. The office desk, monitor, and office chair, all in the 3rd bedroom, we’re perfect for our at home office during our stay. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! We would stay here again for sure.

Wonderful experience

Property was even better than described and had every amenity we could imagine, especially the remote heat control for the pool/spa. Kitchen was large and had all utensils, pots/pans, etc. we ever needed. Communication with owner was no problem, and she was very accommodating. Property was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Checkin/out procedures were easy. We would definitely recommend the Blue Mirage.
