Green and Serene West Asheville Getaway

A lovely private 1 bed/1 full bath apartment with private entrance in West Asheville is available for monthly rentals (30 day minimum). The location is great right in "east/west" Asheville right in the middle of West Asheville and RAD - River Arts District. It's walkable to restaurants (Taco Billie's, Pizza Mind, WALK, Admiral, Ghan Shan, Early Girl), cafes (Owl Bakery, Hole, and BattleCat coffee), breweries (Archetype, Urban Orchard, and Cellarest) and some shops. (10 min walk, 2 min drive). And 10 min is Carrier Park.

The apt has a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, essentials like olive oil etc.) with stove, microwave, French press, coffee maker, full fridge, dishwasher and dining table; a large living room with extra work space in back if needed and a smart TV; full bath; and private bedroom with QUEEN bed and closet space.

You have a green outdoor space, covered porch and bistro table with the sound of birds and squirrels playing. Walkable to many restaurants, cider house, cafes, breweries, and Carrier Park. Serene location, yet close to it all!

The floors are a gorgeous stained concrete with 9 foot high ceilings, non-VOC paint, PVC free shower curtain, all natural Jute throw rugs. The one bedroom can be closed for privacy from the living room/kitchen. You have an Austin Air filter, which is one of the best kinds that also takes care of viruses and bacteria and gives the added benefit of white noise if you need. (but it is very quiet here as it is).

Limited laundry (washer and dryer) in the garage which is just off the apt - you just need to coordinate times with me and small space in garage for bikes.

I provide you with most everything you need - including soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, cotton balls, Q tips, pens, paper, hand sanitizer etc. upon your arrival to get you going for your month or more stay. I also provide 1 gallon of reverse osmosis filtered water for your stay to get you going until you can get to the store and there is organic coffee and tea (if you need cream, please request this)! Extra blankets in the foot stool.

This is a quiet place with no road noise...only the sounds of birds ! And while it's officially a basement apt, it doesn't feel that way as the ceiling are high and you have windows with great sun. The apt is not "underground". On the map, it is the general location of the neighborhood. Upon booking you will receive the address - but it's a wonderful location and very secluded. I live upstairs on the other end of the house and am very quiet and don't use shoes in the house (not heavy footed) and used to being quiet for guests as this has been a successful listing on another site for 6+ years.

I am chemically sensitive and have a hard time when I travel due to fragrance and harsh chemicals, which are unnecessarily used in cleaning and laundry. I am happy to offer effective safe cleaning products, like 70% alcohol spray for sanitization and non-toxic products in laundry, cleaning, bath and kitchen proven to target pathogens to cater to those with chemical sensitivities too. I ask that you don't have heavy scents like hairsprays or perfumes etc. while staying here. Essential oils are ok and some of the products I offer have essential oils in them. For totally scent free products during your stay, please just request as I have these too. But for MCS, please inquiry first with me. I also leave hand sanitizers, paper towels and alcohol spray.
