COPPER CABIN at Florencia Bay Retreat offers a self-catering luxury cabin, privately located on a 2.4 acre old growth forested property bordering Pacific Rim National Park, within walking distance of Florencia Bay and Halfmoon Bay via the Willowbrae Trail. This is a place to unplug from the busyness of daily life and reconnect with nature and decompress.
This work-of-art cabin built on Vancouver Island features traditional old growth logs and beautifully handcrafted custom creations by local artisans and craftsmen. With subtle details such as a river rock fireplace, a grand copper tub to the beautifully handcrafted antique-style kitchen, king poster bed, luxurious granite shower, and a stargazing private hot tub set in the forest.

You will be taken back by the elegant details and craftsmanship that has been placed into creating Copper Cabin. Upon entering, you will be guided into a handcrafted antique-style kitchen with black and gold details throughout. The kitchen comes fully stocked with beautiful dishware, a large brass farmhouse style sink, and a black antique style kitchen oven. The space also has a large island that is perfect for your morning breakfast or your evening glass of red wine while indulging in great conversations with your loved ones. Appreciate sleeping in a king size bed and located just beneath the bed is a fireplace that creates a cozy calming atmosphere. Tucked away in the corner is a beautiful copper freestanding bathtub perfect for capping off your romantic evening! Just off the living/sleeping area is a large bathroom with a stand up shower, complete with granite finishes. Just out the front door there is a seating area on the front porch and a hot tub nestled amongst the trees to heighten this romantic getaway experience!

Important Notes Before You Book
Fireplace: The cabin has a propane fireplace (not wood-burning).
Laundry: The cabin does not have a washer or dryer. There are local laundromats available in Tofino and Ucluelet.
Flooring: The cabin has large stone tile flooring, which can be slightly uneven in some areas. Guests with mobility concerns may find this challenging.

We’re in the exciting process of preparing for the addition of a fifth cabin on the property (completion, spring 2026). You may notice some light construction activity during the day as work progresses. We’ll do our best to keep any disruption minimal, and no work will take place in the evenings or on weekends.
During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps.

2 Dogs max allowed after owner approval. Sorry no cats!

The cabin does not have a washer and dryer. There is a local laundry mat near by.

Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy. If you provide us with the 30 days required notice you will receive a full refund (minus any pesky booking platform fees). If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.
