Overlooking the 5th green of the Greg Norman course, this 3,700 sq. foot 3 bedroom (plus 4th convertible) gem of a house is where we come as a family to get away from the city. We do not have short-term rental permits, but would welcome month-to-month renters to come enjoy the house like we do.
Why La Quintuta?
Growing up, my grandparents had a vacation house in Peru, that we used to call La Cantuta. It was a place for friends and family to gather, make good food, and have fun. The play on the name seemed logical. We hope that we can achieve the same memories at La Quintuta as we made at La Cantuta.
Pool & Spa
When we are at La Quintuta, we spend a lot of time in the pool. During the summer months, heating isn't necessary. In colder months it probably will be more comfortable to heat it. Cost will be based on usage. The spa also has controls that allow you to turn the spa pump on/off (and thus heat), turn the lights on/off, turn the waterfall on/off, and turn the jets on/off. You can't control the temperature from there. For safety reasons (mostly so our dog doesn't fall in), we installed a pool fence. There are entry points at the pool and at the spa. The fence is removable.
Sleeping Arrangements
The main house has two bedrooms, each with a king bed. In the master bedroom closet, there is also a folded twin-size rollaway bed with memory foam mattress. It's pretty comfy. There's also a full-size foldable crib that you can move where desired. The casita has a queen size bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa (with memory foam topper available) in the living room.
Entertainment
Spectrum Cable and Amazon Fire Stick available throughout. There is Sonos sound system throughout the main living house. I strongly suggest logging in to the wifi and downloading the Sonos app. From the Sonos app, you'll be able to play music in the patio, kitchen, living room, and master bed/bath.
