Lake Michigan beach & guest home in Saugatuck with frontage on the channel at the pier head with a great walkable beach & just doors from 1000+/- acre Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Can walk to beach with just a few stairs. Main home and guest home are great for entertaining with 2 kitchens; main home has 2 center islands and eating areas inside and out on a huge lakeside wraparound porch. NO Weddings over 25 on site but MANY wedding/event centers within a few short miles. New heated in-ground pool 2023. 2022 Hot tub. Guest house has 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, a 2nd laundry & a 2nd full kitchen with a ping pong & foosball table below with couches, a king bed and twin bed, a futon sleeper and sliders to newer in-ground heated pool (heated at 85 degrees). Main house has 3 en suites each with king bed and balconies/decking on both sides of the rooms.

Book a full 7 days at both main/guest house in the summer Saturday to Saturday between Memorial & Labor Day weeks and included is a complimentary 4-hour trip aboard my 60' fantail motor yacht with captain. www.YachtYemaya.com. Captain Chuck for booking is at 616-403-6196. Ask about hiring in-home chef. 8 bedrooms and sleeps up to 18. Both east and west wing rented together.

On 5 acres. Gas grills by main house and by pool/patio area. Loads of things to do in nearby Saugatuck, Douglas, Holland and Fennville.

Main kitchen has warming drawer, 2 full size refrigerator-freezers, ice maker, wine fridge, double Gaggenau ovens, 6 burner gas stove top, loads of kitchen items for larger parties, several coffee makers from Keurig to a larger percolator to French Press and drip coffee makers.

Games galore: Pool table, foosball table, ping pong, Play Station, dartboard and many card and board games and loads of books.

The host Andrea was super easy to work with, very accommodating and hospitable!! I had my elopement here in January, and stayed the weekend afterwards for a mini honeymoon! it was cozy and warm despite the mini blizzard. We even used the hot tub and it was relaxing even in negative degrees. Will definitely be looking forward to booking again in the future during the summer! Andrea was a breeze and made our stay very easy and fun.

We enjoyed an exceptional Christmas stay with our family, including adult children and young grandchildren. The view is unique, encompassing an unobstructed 180 degrees of Lake Michigan and vast conservation land. The home’s design is meant to resemble a ship and you feel you’re onboard a luxury vessel. Beautiful one of a kind property. The location was amazingly special. Once we got there we never left the property. The beautiful little town of Saugatuck was very close by but the house and property were so amazing we just couldn’t leave. Everything we needed was right there. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The view was like no other. We could’ve sat on the beach all day long and watched the waves and the boats come and go. We will definitely be back for an even longer stay next time!

Andrea, the host, was very quick in answering any questions. Being right on the beach was excellent. We were a party of 8 adults and 6 children under 10. As part of a birthday celebration, we had Lydia of Porch Light Gathering cater the dinner for the adults and everything was excellent. We had two young babysitters to watch the kids and they were great.

Absolutely amazing

The home is absolutely amazing. The photos really don’t do justice to the stunning beauty of the home and location. Everything we needed for our stay was provided and we had no issues. We had a family vacation for a lifetime and enjoyed every second. In addition, we highly recommend the yacht cruise. The boat and Captain Chuck are both amazing.

Beautiful beach and house

We stayed five nights for a family reunion, 12 adults and four little kids. The house and property were super clean. We loved the beach, pool, sunsets. Any question or concern we had was addressed quickly by Andrea. It was fun watching boats go in and out of the channel. The two houses (main and guest) provide lots of space for people to relax on their own or to mingle whole group. The property is a short drive to downtown Saugatuck. Great location! We hope to return to this special house!

Fabulous location & home

We had an amazing stay and enjoyed walks on the sandy beach and amazing sunsets. The location is unique and private with unbeatable views of Lake Michigan and the channel. Lots of gathering areas and space indoors as well as a large lakeside deck that is perfect for sunset watching or just listening to the waves. A beautiful retreat and would highly recommend!

A relaxing week on Lake Michigan

We had an amazing week at Andrea’s house on Lake Michigan. Andrea was a very attentive host and was quick to respond if we had questions or needed suggestions about the area.The property is very nice and has a big kitchen - full of everything you need to cook and a separate dining room with a table that comfortably fits 10-12 people for big family dinners. The wrap around porch was a favorite spot after dinner to relax in the lounge chairs and watch the sun set. Our kids enjoyed spending time at the pool and the beach during the day. In the evenings they enjoyed playing pool and catching up on their favorite shows.Definitely a great place if you are looking for a relaxing trip by the beach.

Wonderful vacation

The eleven of us had a fantastic week at Petrichor! There was plenty of space for our three generations in four families to spend time together, or retreat to privacy. The home was immaculate, and extremely well stocked with everything from pantry staples to kitchen necessities to games to pool toys! The views from the living rooms and decks were just stunning-many hours were spent watching the boats and the wildlife! The lower level game room was a hit with the kids, and the pool was perfect for everyone. The beach was easily accessible and provided relaxation with beautiful views and plenty of seating around the fire pit. Andrea was very quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. There’s no better place to spend a week in summer!

Ideal Lake Michigan Getaway

This was our second year staying in the home and we came back for a reason! There is no better spot to enjoy Lake Michigan, boats and the Saugatuck/Douglas area than this property. Incredible Spring Break Stay

Everything about this trip was ELITE. Communication was great, the property manager/owner really cares about your stay and experience, and you can feel that. The house itself is incredible. The kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, sitting rooms, deck space, game room, guest house, all simply outstanding. The beach is less than 50 steps from the door. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Appreciated the "accessories" - the hot tub, swimming pool, grills, Keurig, pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, PS5, and even the first aid kit (whoops). Thank you for the priceless family memories, I cannot wait to stay here again!

Simply the best view and Lake access

We have stayed at countless vacation rentals on the lake shore in Saugatuck/Douglas/Holland and this propert wins the prize for views and lake access. No big dune to walk down - the private beach is mere steps from the back porch. Owner was extremely responsive and took care of the few minor issues we experienced - none worth noting here. We look forward to returning!

Saugatuck House

We had an outstanding time during our week at the house. The view from the house and the property is absolutely gorgeous. In fact, it was so amazing, that no one wanted to leave the house! There is plenty of space and privacy, a great kitchen, game room, and huge deck space. The private beach was quiet and private. Overall, a fantastic vacation.

Best Lake Michigan home in the state. 360 degree decking on the main home with a guest house. 2 kitchens, 2 laundries, hot tub on the deck, huge beach, 5 acres, boat watching, nearly 1000 acre state park just a short walk/ski down the beach. Multi-million home. Optional private chef (if available) and option 4 hour private sunset or day cruise aboard the classic one-of-a-kind fantail motor yacht, Yemaya, docked very near the home at the Safe Harbor Tower Marina. (in season and included for full week bookings in boating season). 15 minutes or less to Holland, Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville with farmer's markets, the arts, great shopping and entertainment, live outdoor concerts in summer and the best beach. Architecturally designed multi-million home with great entertaining spaces. Jacuzzi tub and gas log fireplace in the master suite. Streaming TV's in most every room. Billiards and ping pong tables. Wet bar upstairs. Ice maker, warming drawer, double Gaggenau ovens, 2 large refrigerator freezers in main home and a full kitchen in the guest house are all very well stocked for cooking and meals. Great teak outdoor furniture and some Adirondacks. Beach towels and all indoor linens provided. Multi million dollar home with multi million dollar views. 2-story living room has new gas log fireplace. Lots of room to gather together or spread out for a little alone time on the deck, in the house or on the beach. Check out Serenity for a sailing schooner or the Star of Saugatuck paddle boat. Modales or Fenn Valley Wineries, Saugatuck Center of the Arts, Hope College Summer Repertory Theater, or Holland Civic Theater, Meijer Gardens, Crane's Orchards, the Saugatuck Dunes State Park next door to the gated North Shore Community where this home sits are all "to do's" on your vacation. As amazing all year round as in the summer.

Pier for fishing & boat watching. Some of the best low bluff, walkable beach in a great location. Gated community of North Shore of Saugatuck with marinas & rentals of boats and fishing nearby. Rent a retro electric boat or a "doughnut" boat on the Kalamazoo River, climb to the top of Mt Baldy in Saugatuck or Mt Pisgah near the Holland State Park for some of the best views. Visit Oxbox Arts Camp or the John Ball Park Zoo or Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, summer performances at Hope College's Summer Repertory Theater or at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Many of the local farmer's markets are Wednesdays & Saturdays (Holland & South Haven) & Saugatuck has it's own. Demond's Groceries in Douglas is the closest but Family Fare on S Washington and Meijers on E 16th St in Holland or Meijers in South Haven have more selection and better produce.

Spectacular all year round with the nearly 1000 acre Saugatuck Dunes State Park just a short walk to our north past about 7 other beachfront homes and there's hundreds of acres on the south side of the pier and channel that is a preserve so this 7 acre property feels like it's much larger. Bring your own bikes or kayaks. We supply beach chairs & towels, outdoor furniture, indoor linens, a VERY well stocked kitchen(s), streaming TV's in nearly every room, a billiards and a ping pong table. 4 fireplaces.

Newer hot tub. Backup power generators. 3 full size refrigerator freezers. 3 ovens total, 2 laundries.

Places for Weddings/Events nearby are: the beach at the Saugatuck Dunes State Park (no large parties at the house). The Ravines Golf Course, the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, The Felt Mansion, The Belvedere Inn and restaurant, The Red Barn Event Center, the Blue Star Event Center, the Ivy House, A Cut Above Event Center, the Blue Star Event Center, the Holland Civic Center, Inisfree Farms, Modales Winery, the First Congregational Church of Saugatuck.
