Million Dollar Sunrise View

Our home is 4 bedroom, 2 Bathroom that sleeps 8, updated kitchen, dinning and seating with open floor plan and 2 full bathrooms with shower tub combo. Large out door deck, boat ramp, private dock and fire pit. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of nature. The large deck overlooks the lake where you may see bald eagles, mallard ducks, Canadian geese, osprey. We even have an owl that lives in the woods. You can fish from the newly refurbished dock or just sit and enjoy the view. Our house is cozy and comfortable. It may not be the biggest or the fanciest but you will enjoy a million dollar view. Enjoy your morning coffee as the sunrises right in front. Even though the sunset is behind the house as it sets the view across the lake and changing colors on the water is beautiful. If you are here for fishing this is the perfect location. Dreher Island is directly in front of the house by water. You can launch your boat from the boat ramp and be at Dreher Island State Park in 5 minutes. The house location gives great access by boat to the dam to the right and to the left is Little River and Blacks Bridge. Bring your boat and enjoy restaurants by water. Liberty Tap room, Buffalo Creek or Fiddler Blues are our favorites. Before your stay if you would like arrangements for a boat charter or fishing tour please let us know. We will be happy to help you make arrangements.

Important to note - the home has steps both out side and inside. There are hand rails. If you have mobility issues please know this is our home and is not handicap accessible.

Peaceful Place

The view was amazing and very relaxing. The sleeping rooms were just perfect for our family group. We enjoyed playing games at the large dining table. Sadly, the weather was not good, and we were only there for two nights. It did have quite a few odds and ends in closets, doors and drawers.

Perfect place!

Quaint and cozy

I had a change in cleaning companies right before you came and unfortunately this one was not up to yours or my expectations. However, when you choose to stay with us again, I have a cleaning company that has just started and they are wonderful. Thank you for your honest feedback and for letting me know. After I spoke with you I immediately looked to fix the cleaning situation.

Fishing trip

Leigh Ann was quick to respond to all of our questions and made the check in process easy. The property is well equipped with everything you need and is beautiful with a super fantastic view. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and you can see a lot of wildlife wandering around. There were four adults there for a fishing trip. We would definitely highly recommend this property and we will stay there again.

Weekend get away

Cute, quaint, clean 1960’s home. My only suggestion is to add a regular bed to the bunk room or ditch the bunks and add regular beds .

The view was wonderful, the house was fine, the owner was really nice, the dock was an issue, you had to climb up and down the ladder to get in the boat, and the cats were a nuisance.

Vicky I am glad you enjoyed the view. We will address the dock issue. When the water levels are up it’s not an issue, you just step right off the dock into the boat. Unfortunately with the lower water level makes for a problem loading and unloading. We will address this issue over the winter. I apologize the cats were a nuisance. I wish you would have let me know during your stay I would have removed them from the property. Usually they stay to themselves and do not bother guest. I think they are getting to used to changing guest and becoming more friendly. I appreciate your feedback. I take pride in hosting and want everyone to enjoy our home as much as we do.

Downtime galore

Such a beautiful lake! Very well equipped house. Can’t think of anything else we needed. Leigh Ann responded within minutes to questions and friendly banter. Super friendly neighbors. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Check out was a snap. Highly recommend this property. You won’t be sorry!

I apologize that our home did not meet your expectations. I did try to respond to your needs to help you enjoy your stay. Bringing items that you requested that were not listed in amenities for the home. Concerning the bathroom. Yes one is small and awkward but there are 2 bathrooms and there is plenty of room in the 2nd bathroom. With only two people staying and two bathrooms you could have used the larger bathroom if the smaller one was an issue. We do plan to renovate the small bathroom this winter. The description and amenities listed when you booked stated that both bathrooms have a tub shower combo. No walk in shower. This is a lakefront home and we do our best with keeping all cobwebs knocked down. The cobwebs were not throughout the home but on the porch area and outside deck. However, I will make sure in the future we pay closer attention to the cobwebs. As a host I want all guest to enjoy their stay and know our home will meet their needs. I have added to the description that our home maybe problematic to people with mobility issues.
