Thanks for viewing our listing; one of many properties professionally managed by JonBie Maisons on Daufuskie Island.

First thing to note when planning a trip to Daufuskie Island is there is NO Bridge. To reach our island you must book a ferry, water taxi or come by your own boat. Once on the island you’ll need grounds transport from your arrival dock to your JonBie Maisons vacation home. JonBie Maisons has options listed for both ferry/water taxi and transport providers and will be happy to make recommendations based on your travel arrangements.

We’re excited to host you so please check out the specifics of our home below.

This premium cottage has it all. Situated on the 2nd row of Daufuskie’s beautiful Avenue of Oaks, JonBie Maison Tide's End guests will look to the Atlantic Ocean beach from the front porch and enjoy serene tidal creek and marsh views from the back. The cottage has a wonderful location, and cottage guests will be just steps away from the pristine Melrose Beach

The interior of the cottage is open and spacious living/dining/kitchen area that is great for family and friend time. The cottage includes flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. WIFI is Free during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 8 or more with full size stainless steel appliances, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a stocked Coffee/Tea Bar, making meal preparation easy for you and your family throughout your stay - even Holidays! Meals can be enjoyed in the dining area or screened porch.

A laundry room with full size washer and dryer is also available to make island life more convenient and comfortable; and there is a high chair and pack & play for your infant and toddler needs.

A golf cart is also included with your booking. Information for reserving additional carts will be provided at booking GAS CARTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL JONBIE COTTAGES & VILLAS and Carts are NOT to be used for hauling luggage, groceries, coolers, etc.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We met Kurt there and he was very personable and helpful.

Daufuskie island in late March was a great place for us to visit. We enjoyed the quiet lifestyle, golf carts and the location was centrally located.

Good stay.

The house is beautiful, well kept, and comfortable. We did have some kinks when checking out and struggled with communication with the host, but other than that our stay was great.

For the reader: Yes, it will create a "kink" if the golf cart and small appliances are missing from our home when you check out. And if we can't reach you by phone or messages then again, yes, that will create further "kinks". In the spirit of our tiny island and fabulous neighbors the cart and Keurig were located and returned just in time for the next guests enjoyment and MC we're looking forward to hosting you next visit.

Perfect long weekend

Grateful for a relaxing and comfortable weekend away. Really enjoyed the island and the beach cottage. Comfortable beds and so much fun to golf cart around. Enjoyed the sportsman’s pub. Great having beach chairs and towels to use with the rental. Appreciated the hosts flexibility with the hurricane altering travel plans. Highly recommend!

Excellent Stay!!

We had an excellent stay at this cottage in Daufuskie- Not only is the property super clean the owner Kurt was extremely friendly and helpful- he even stopped by to give us some tips on the island and things to do! The house was very well stocked with supplies (we brought our dogs and there was even supplies for them!) and the King sized bed had the most comfortable mattress! Definitely will stay here again!!! Thank you Kurt and Tammy for the great family vacation!

Unplug and get away!

Our party of five, for adults and one teen really enjoyed our stay on Daufuskie And this cottage was a perfect homebase! Comfortable, clean, cute. We enjoyed using the golf cart to explore the island, its history and beauty. Don’t miss School Grounds Coffee shop! Still thinking about their Coffee and Homemade cinnamon rolls!

Amazing

Clean, comfortable and great for a family vacation. The owner was the coolest guy and did everything to make our stay great, including getting us a cot for our daughter. The beach was so close, great area for dogs in front and the golf carts were perfect. We were first timers to Daufuskie and weren’t sure how much would be provided, but they had shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent and dish soap as well as coffee and tea! We felt so welcomed and can’t wait to come back!!

Island Magic

I hosted a small, chill Bachelorette weekend for 6 here, and it was truly magical. The house is steps from the beach and the Beach Club with it’s lovely and perfectly placed shoreside pool. The house had everything we needed, including a golf cart to accommodate the whole party. That was key to our Dafuskie adventures and exploration. The back porch looks over a coastal creek and a wonderfully wild scene. We used the grill to cook out one night and enjoyed deviled crabs and low country boil curtesy of local legend Ernestine Smith another. Perfect. Tammy(out host) was quick to respond and an invaluable help during and leading up to our trip. She went above and beyond. And it made all the difference. I hope to return to Dafuskie soon and would absolutely book again.

Excellent, quiet beachfront house

This is the perfect place to go if you want a slower pace vacation. Getting to the island and getting equipped takes a little work and planning. We had to make ferry and ground transportation arrangements in advance, buy groceries, and pack lighter. However, all of the beach stuff we needed was at the house waiting for us. The house itself was lovely and a very short walk from the beach. There was a nice neighborhood pool for an extra cost. The property came with a golf cart and bikes, both of which we used liberally. I loved being able to bike with my kids and feel safe because there was barely any traffic at all. There were a few restaurants and stores and all of them had playgrounds for the kids. Mostly we played at the pool or beach or took bike rides. My kids also loved exploring in the golf cart. They even really enjoyed the experience of coming over on the ferry. Everyone we met was so nice and it was overall just a really fun week. The managers of this property were great and made sure we had everything we needed. It would have been great to be able to get a bike with training wheels for my younger son, but that wasn’t a big issue. My one tip to anyone staying at this house or Daufuskie for the first time is to bring bug spray. The mosquitos are real and we got itchy.

Great weekend on Daufuskie!

We were so impressed with this cottage on Daufuskie. For our family of four and two dogs, it was just what we needed - clean, spacious, great screened back porch, wonderfully appointed kitchen, easy access to the beach. The one issue we thought we had with one of the golf carts (which turned out to be user error, not even an issue!) was resolved literally within 10 minutes of sending the message to Tammy - and that was on a Saturday evening. We will stay again! Thank you for a great weekend!
