WORK FROM (our) HOME
Our home office has dual monitors, a wireless keyboard, mouse, and docking station to make working remotely a breeze (more details below).

Julie and Andy have spent the last 3 years doing a complete renovation to their vacation home rental named Jandie's, to make it a clean, safe place for families and individuals to enjoy the Berkshires.

The landscape is that of a storybook. A large deck sits on the front of the house overlooking the sprawling driveway lined with crab apple trees.

Kids and adults of all ages will love spending time in this ENORMOUS yard. If the season is right, you might even be able to pick your own blueberries right in the backyard!

This open-concept home has mountain views of the west with sunsets that are breathtaking year-round. The eastern views include beautiful sunrises and water views of the Tracy Brook Wildlife Sanctuary just across the street, where there is an active Heron nesting site & beaver dam. There are also ducks, geese, fish, frogs & peepers!

If you have to spend time in the kitchen on vacation, it should be a dream. The brand-new kitchen has custom cabinetry, modern appliances & is fully equipped!
You can also enjoy grilling on the deck right off the kitchen, with views the Berkshires are known for.

Main living area: 3 electric loveseat recliners, gas fireplace, and 55-inch smart TV

Dining: Formal dining room table that seats six and an additional high-top table that seats 4.

Guest-bedroom #1: First floor, queen bed

First-floor bath: Full bathroom with large shower.

Guest-bedroom #2: Second floor, queen bed, smart TV

Guest bedroom #3: Second floor, 2 extra long twin beds that can convert to a king & 2 twin beds.
A queen 24" air mattress is also available, making this extra-large bedroom a perfect slumber party for up to 6 kids!

Second-floor bath: Full bathroom with tub/shower combo with heat for that spa-like experience

The walk-in finished basement has a super comfortable pull out couch for sleeping privacy & is conveniently accessed by the driveway.

Great Berkshire Getaway

Close to everything: Tanglewood, museums, Shaker Village, Lenox and Stockbridge. The house was very well appointed and the cleanest rental we’ve ever been to. The view out the back is fabulous and perfect for catching sunsets. Julie is a great host.

Beautiful Home

Jandies is an immaculate, well-equipped home in a beautiful setting! The house was spotless. I stayed with my husband and sister-in-law for a weekend at Tanglewood. The first floor bedroom was a plus for her. We would definitely stay here again!

Long winter weekend

My family of 5 spent a wonderful long ski weekend at Jandie’s house. The room arrangement worked out well for us and the whole place was amazingly clean and organized! We especially enjoyed the individual recliners in the living room in front of the fireplace. The location felt like we were in the country but the stores were nearby if needed. We would definitely go again!

COZY HOME IN THE BERKSHIRES

Jandie's was the absolute best rental house we have ever stayed at. The house was clean and well kept, everything felt brand new. The set up was great, open kitchen, dining room and living room and made entertaining very easy. The kids had their own room and enjoyed spending time together in their own space. Julie was a pleasure to work with and accommodated us in anyway she could, from beginning to end. She even made us homemade delicious treats. We would highly recommend Jandie's and we will definitely be back soon.

Great!

We stayed here between Christmas and New Years visiting family in the area, and we had a lovely time. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, from abundant towels down to a rubber band in the kitchen drawer. Beds were comfy. The owner, Julie, was a friendly and gracious host, and even left us gifts and homemade holiday sweets, making our stay feel very festive. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the Berkshires!

Spacious, clean & comfortable

Stayed at Jandie’s house while visiting Tanglewood summer concerts in Lenox, MA. Beautiful property, super clean, spacious, well-stocked kitchen (seriously better than my own kitchen!) and convenient location. The open layout of kitchen and dining area makes it very easy for everyone to gather around. The host, Julie, was very kind & thoughtful. Definitely one of the best VRBO experiences

Perfect stay

This home is well located, immaculately clean, and perfect for allergy sufferers. Even if a property does not allow pets my husband usually has allergy issues due to dust. But not here! It was spotless. Julie is a lovely host who is endlessly accommodating & easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this delightful, peaceful listing.

Above and beyond

Julie was flexible and accommodating to our changing arrival time and was there to greet us and show us around. The house was incredibly clean and the property was very pretty. Julie went above and beyond to get flowers, cupcakes, and decorations for my birthday! She made checking out a breeze. We had a wonderful experience at this house and would definitely return!

Magnificent!!

This remodeled farm house was like a brand new home! The pictures just didn't do it justice. The host had everything that we needed and more. It had luxurious towels and sheets and the kitchen was brand new and fully stocked. The home is close to a lake which is accessible for swimming and boating. Next time we will bring our kayaks. We will definitely book this home again. Thanks for your hospitality.

Great for families with young children

Two couples with three year olds spent New Years weekend here. The house was in perfect condition and well stocked. Julie was incredibly thoughtful and made the kid beds in adorable flannel sheets with bumpers for safety and when one child left behind a stuffy she shipped it right away. The space worked so well for our needs and was located near adorable downtowns and attractions (we went to the Winter Lights at Naumkeag and for a nature walk at the Audubon property). Julie was easy to communicate with and made sure we knew how to reach her if anything came up. We would absolutely stay here again for future Berkshire adventures!

Perfect girls' weekend retreat

This was the perfect house for a five women getaway weekend. The house itself was meticulous and has everything and more than one could want. The kitchen is better equipped than my own at home! Beds super comfortable too.The owner Julie gave us detailed instructions on how to work everything, and we knew she was available if we had any questions. The weather was not cooperative so we spent more time in the house than we might have otherwise, and it was delightful nonetheless. The location is super convenient for outings to Stockbridge, Lenox, Pittsfield and really, anything in the area. Highly recommend & would definitely rent again.

Stunning Views

Came for a ladies weekend with my mom. DIL & SIL. The Jandies make this home inviting! Beyond clean. Living room is comfy and toasty with the propane fireplace and soft blankets - and every seat reclines (with cup holders!) First floor bedroom and bathroom (with step in shower) was perfect for my mom who can’t do stairs or get in and out of a tub for a shower. Plenty of seating with beautiful mountain views. Gorgeous to sit outside in the quiet and enjoy the scenery. We’ll be staying again - especially in the fall. Thank you Julie!

Perfect and peaceful! WE LOVED OUR STAY!!

Outstanding property, outstanding property manager. This fully private entire home is ideal for a family or group. We stayed here during our son's wedding weekend, and it was a great stay!!! Most notable is that this house is immaculately clean and in tip-top condition from top to bottom. This host is very responsive and accommodating. Upstairs are two bedrooms, very well appointed with comfortable beds/pillows and nice quality bed linens. Smart furniture for guest convenience, mirrors, outlets, seating, lighting, closets. The spotless full bathroom upstairs has a generous amount of towels and hot shower toiletries. Luxury custom kitchen w/island. Climate controlled for AC/heat. Open concept space with gorgeous meadow views from light filled dining area with large antique dining table plus a pub table with stools, large livingroom with full bank of sectional recliner seating, TV & gas fireplace. Front deck for outdoor seating. Lower level has utility space plus additional finished room with sleeper sofabed & office workspace. Nice setting for the house on a fairly quiet rural road. Private driveway with turnaround and ample off-street parking. Nine minutes from downtown Pittsfield, 18 mins to The Mount in Lenox. Idyllic location for your Berkshires vacation stay! We loved it here!!

The Greatest Berkshire Getaway

We visited Julie and Andy's property for a ski trip to Jiminy Peak this winter and had an excellent stay. Julie and Andy are top-notch hosts and their property is outstanding. Julie communicated all the details we needed before, during and after our trip. She also shared her local knowledge on the surrounding lakes, restaurants and activities. Jandie - as they named the house - is spotless. The kitchen is a clean and open space that's fully-stocked with utensils, cookware, and all the devices you need, including a waffle maker and juicer. The beds are so so comfortable. Julie made them up with flannel sheets, cozy comforters and lots of pillows. The couches surrounding the TV and gas fireplace are cozy and spacious. The view of the fields is lovely and the house was so peaceful when we went to bed. We had a lovely arrival when we came in at evening time. The electric candles were flickering on the mantle and the lights had been left on to guide us in. Not only is the house immaculate and cozy, it's set up in a useful way. If you ski or swim, the downstairs entryway is easy-access and there's room for storing your gear. The drive was plowed and ready. The kitchen and dining area are spacious so lots of people can gather. There's an extra hightop table where you can leave your books and games or set up for the kids to eat. The closets are organized so you can store your things and get your luggage out of the way and the washer and dryer are full size. If you're a lighting fanatic like me, all the lamps were in the right place for reading and the hightops in the ceiling were clear-colored and dimmable. I'm looking forward to visiting again in the summer! Thanks Julie and Andy.

Clean and spacious

Jandies is a clean, modern, well equipped house. It’s great for families with young kids. Tons of space and the owner even configured one of the bedrooms so all of our kids could have a slumber party together. The yard is awesome. Location is perfect for Tanglewood & Bosque Ski Mountain. We will be back!
