Group of 12 - Extended Family 1 week in February
We were 3 sisters each with a family of four. Our kids ranged from age 10 to 23. We travelled in February and booked the whole house. Sofia, the owner also rents Casa Lulu by room on other sites. There are seven rooms each with a bathroom and external access with separate keys. Two of the rooms have 2 beds making it perfect for families with children. The kitchen was large and there are two eating areas where we were able to fit all 12 of us - a very large dining room table inside and three outside tables we were able to push together for an outside dinner. We cooked 3 meals for 12 at the house and it worked perfectly sharing kitchen space. We were able to figure out how to use the charcoal BBQ. Down the hill are fantastic Mexican restaurants and they make wonderful margaritas. Unexpected bonus: the old town is wonderful, the weather was perfect (cool at night for sleeping and hot in the day), we never needed the air-conditioning, the parking space for two cars is large and very secure, and there are zero biting insects. I rated the place 5 stars because it was a wonderful experience but to manage your expectations so that you have an equally wonderful trip I should point out that there is no dishwasher, the pool water is cold (our kids didn't care) and sometimes the pilot light on the heater goes out on windy days (contact Sofia on Vrbo and she will fix very quickly). Hopefully my detailed candid review will help you make informed choices.
