In the heart of the department, near the banks of the Ain River, in a large stone building within a spacious wooded park, this gîte (120m²), adjoining the family's holiday home, offers a perfect base for exploring the Revermont hills. On the ground floor, the entrance opens directly into the living area, with its open-plan kitchen and lounge. You can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace on winter evenings (a basket of firewood is provided). A large Bresse-style table awaits you for meals. A separate WC is located near the entrance. Through the large French doors, you have direct access to the gîte's private terrace, furnished with garden furniture, a barbecue, and a sun lounger. On the first floor, a landing leads to the bathroom, a separate WC, and two bedrooms (one with two single beds and the other with two single beds). On the second floor is a large attic bedroom (1 double bed + 1 single bed) and a shower room with a sink. Electric heating (extra charge). Baby equipment (cot, high chair) is available. This country cottage blends wood and stone. Pets are welcome, including horses. A closed garage is available for bicycles and motorcycles. End-of-stay cleaning, bed linen, and towels are offered as optional extras. Nearby attractions include: the medieval town of Pérouges, the Royal Monastery of Brou, the wine-growing villages of Cerdon, the Château des Allymes, the Parc des Oiseaux (Bird Park) in Villars-les-Dombes, Touroparc Zoo (71), and is close to Lyon (45 minutes).
