Recently updated “In the Trees” is separated from the neighborhood with old growth flowering rhododendrons and surrounded by woods on all other sides making for a very private getaway with unique views from every window.

INSIDE THE HOME
Nestled on a wooded lot in the quaint hamlet of Glenn is our Michigan retreat. Designed for intimate gatherings of friends and family, the home offers multiple porches, decks, glass nooks, and a 3 season room to relax and immerse in nature. The living room is well stocked with with cards, dice and games and a big wood table to gather around. In the colder months, you can warm up by the wood burning fireplace in the living room. Off the living room are two bedrooms with queen beds, and additional sleeping for two is available via the pull out couch with memory foam. There are also two separate full bathrooms. The gourmet kitchen is centered around a large 6 burner oven and is easy to entertain in. It's properly stocked with everything you'd need to make meals at home, perhaps using local produce from Dee's Farm just down the road. There is a third bed room in the newly done garage addition, there is no heat so renting in the off season is not permitted. No pets allowed.

OUTDOOR SPACE
Enjoy the beach rock fire pit and Adirondack chairs privately located in the back of the home or fully unwind at night in the 6 person Nordic hot tub. The large wrap around back deck is a great place to lay in the hammack, use the bag set or play giant jenga. The 3 seasons room is usable all year-round, down to 30º weather with the radiant space heaters always on.

THE LOCATION
The house in just steps away from Lake Michigan. Walk 3 minutes down the road to find steps leading right down to the water! Heading north from the stairs you'll find over a mile of walkable beach. A short drive away is a local favorite: Wau-Ke-Na, W. E. Smith Preserve North Tract. The private lake access is shared with the homes in the neighborhood and is not open to the public making it private. Not only are you in perfect distance to the lake, but also to two resort towns. South Haven and Saugatuck are both a fifteen minute drive away, the best of both worlds.
