Chesterman Beach is large and flat, with firm beach sand, unlike many beaches. With firm sand, it's perfect for walking, running, or riding a bike. Surfside Lodge is a bright, fresh surf front location nestled perfectly in an old-growth forest with a direct opening on the "surfside" to the wide-open beauty of the Pacific Ocean. The upper-level open floor plan is equipped with a gourmet kitchen complete with all you need to cook your favourites. The living room has spacious seating a gas fireplace- perfect for après cocktails or game night. The large dining area offers sliding doors to a large outdoor terrace complete with a gas BBQ.

The upper level hosts the master bedroom with a king-size bed and full bathroom, all this overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The second bedroom on the lower level includes a sitting area, large flat-screen TV and 2 twin beds. On the lower level, the third room has a king-size bed and sliding doors to the outside deck/boardwalk leading out to the hot tub and ocean. The 3rd-floor lookout houses a small nook for reading, working, or simply watching the surf. The ground floor outdoor decking is complete with a lit boardwalk to get you safely to the hot tub and beach, day or night. Host Rules:
Renters agreement must be signed to confirm the reservation

Tofino Bylaw only allows 6 guest (max) to stay at the property

During peak summer season (July-Aug) 7 night min. with no 1 night gaps in between reservations. If you try to book and receive a "host unavailable" message but the calendar appears open, please send us a message as our software has a few booking rules and may require us to override it.

3 night minimum stay

2 dogs max with a $50 fee per dog (plus tax). Must be owner approved. No cats.

Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws

Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!

Cancellation Policy:
• During July & August, we require 60 days' notice.
• September to June, we require 30 days' notice.
• If you cancel outside of these periods, you'll receive a full refund (minus any pesky Airbnb fees they may collect).
• If you cancel within these time periods, the reservation is non refundable

Accidental Damage Protection: The occasional accident is bound to happen during your holiday. The ADP covers accidental damages of up to $1000, provided damages are reported to Tofino Vacation Rentals before your check-out in writing. The ADP is a mandatory fee of $10 per night that is included in your nightly rate.
