An enchanted interlude in the heart of the Ardèche Verte, the "Gîte de Chaude Oreille" - an elegantly renovated former barn with all modern comforts - is an invitation to get away from it all and recharge your batteries in the heart of nature.

The swimming pool with its suspended terrace - overlooking a magnificent view - allows guests to relax immersed in nature...

Just 10 minutes from the Rochepaule bathing site and situated on the Saint-Régis way, this old farmhouse bears the name given to it by its exceptional exposure and micro-climate: "Chaude Oreille". Down below, the charming Val d'Or brook crosses the GR footpath for a delightful and refreshing stop-off for hikers, or if you're feeling adventurous, the ascent or descent of the stream is full of surprises!

Separate from the main farmhouse, the gîte is designed to offer its guests space, light, beauty and comfort.

From the moment you enter, you'll love the bright 41 sq. metre living/dining/kitchen area with cathedral ceilings, the 2 spacious, refined bedrooms and the outdoor terrace lounge.

LEVEL 1 (86 sq. m)
The comfort of underfloor heating
- living/dining room/kitchen (41 sq. m.):
- spacious living/dining room with large bay window, wood-burning stove, 3 sofas (including 1 convertible 140x190), television with DVD player, wifi, board games
- dining area with table and 6 chairs
- modern, functional kitchen with all appliances and plenty of crockery (central island 310x 125cm): bar seats, fridge, dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave oven, toaster, electric coffee maker, electric kettle, mixer, juice extractor, electric rice cooker...

- the "HUÊ" bedroom (13.5 sq. m.) with its warm Indochine decoration and queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm)
- the adjoining Nordic-style bathroom (6 sq. m.) with walk-in shower and wall-hung toilet
- Laundry room/wardrobe/storage (4 sq. m.): washbasin, washing machine, ironing board, iron, hoover, cleaning equipment, etc.

MEZZANINE (with roof windows)
- the "DALAT" bedroom (16 sq. m. floor area) with an ethnic cabin atmosphere: double bed (160x200) + single bed (90x190) under the roof, separated by a curtain
- the Petit Salon (11 sq. m. floor space): a relaxation/reading area with a small sofa bed for one person (teleworking area with desk available on request).

ENVIRONMENT
The Chaude Oreille property - 22 hectares of woodland and moorland - is at the crossroads of 3 municipalities (Rochepaule - Lalouvesc - Lafarre).

The beech woods above the gîte are home to mushroom patches (ceps, girolles...) when rainfall conditions allow from May-June, and of course in autumn.
