## Emplacement
Located in the north of the Val-de-Marne, Ivry-sur-Seine is a dynamic, intercultural city with an urban landscape marked by its 20th-century architectural heritage. It's also one of the department's most accessible towns, whether by car via the ring road and A4, by public transport with the RER C and metro sept, or by river via the Seine. The city is renowned for its twentieth-century architecture, and in particular for its buildings offering residents beautiful terraces with panoramic views. It also stands out for its commitment to providing access to culture for all. Numerous cultural and creative venues enable not only Val-de-Marnais residents, but also Parisians, to attend shows, sway to the beat in concert or discover modern works of art. As for live entertainment, five structures offer an eclectic program: the Aleph theater founded by Oscar Castro, the Théâtre des Quartiers d'Ivry based at the Manufacture des Œillets, the Antoine Vitez theater with "chanson" status from the French Ministry of Culture, the El Duende theater offering new creations every week, and the Hangar, a concert hall with a highly varied musical program. Film buffs will appreciate the choice of either the Pathé Quai d'Ivry IMAX to discover the latest releases or the Luxy, where they can take part in one of the many events featuring films from all over the world. In addition to the works of art decimated in the city, exhibition-goers can take in the Galerie Fernand Léger or the Crédac, located in the Manufacture des Œillets and hosting several contemporary art exhibitions each year.
