La Cala Beach Home - beachfront few steps away from the sandy beach
This beach house is located within short walking distance to tropical blue flag beaches, stylish restaurants, bars and set in the most convenient location.
The home is privately owned and has been refurbished to the highest standard with attention to details -transforming the traditional Spanish into the modern Scandinavian Boho beach styles to create a warm and inviting feeling as soon as you enter.
Four double bedrooms with South facing all filled with natural lights - two bedrooms have a balcony facing the sea allowing you to appreciate the Spanish sunshine all year round.
One bedroom has its own ensuite.
All rooms have AC/heater, and there is a safe in 1 bedroom. To conserve energy as we are environmentally conscious- we installed solar panels for hot water consumption.
This beach house will cater max 6 persons comfortably.
Kitchen is new and modern - it has full cooking facilities including a microwave oven.
Laundry and drying machine located at the back. The house has a covered garage.
At the front of the house there is a sun terrace where you can dine al fresco looking out to sea.
This accommodation is self contained including utilities, beddings, blanket, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, etc to create a fuss free holiday.
Cleaning services can be organised upon request with extra charge.
La Cala de Mijas is perfectly located between Malaga and Marbella.
Itâs only 20 minute drive from Malaga airport- on the same route towards Marbella.
A popular street market is held every Wednesday and Saturday on the large fairground site which becomes the venue for the annual fair and local fiestas which begin on 25th July.
La Cala de Mijas is also an excellent base from which to visit Puerto Banus, Marbella, Cadiz and Granada. A day trip to the beautiful Mijas Pueblo - a beautiful white washed village on the hill top is a must.
A bus service runs every 15 minutes which can take you to Fuengirola or Marbella from Cala de Mijas.
The house is located on a small village with proximity to supermarket, 2 Spanish seafood restaurants 2-3 mt walk. Hotel Oceano is 5 minutes walk on boardwalk and La Olivia and Unico restaurant/beach club 10 minutes walk. You find plenty of chiringuitos offering sun beds and massage services along the beach.
There is plenty of recreational activities, water sports, golf, horse riding nearby. You will find plenty of playground and parks. La Cala beach is also considered child friendly and a very safe environment for all ages, family, singles, couples and elderly.

It has been our dream to own a beach house in a small friendly community with safe environment for children and family -but at the same time provide life style to younger generation. We like the close proximity to some trendy hotel, restaurants and bar. At the same time we want a place which is convenient to all amenities so that we don't have to depend on transportation.
This house was originally owned by a wonderful family since it was first built in 1960s - it has been holiday home ever since. We are the second owner of this beautiful beach home which makes it so special for us. We want to keep some of the memories and character of the original features intact but at the same time modernize the home.

It takes only 20 minutes to the airport so there is no rush on the last day.
The beach is just outside the door so we normally only bring chair and towels - there are showers /WC along the beach.
We like all the chiringuitos along the beach. The people are so friendly.
We have family restaurant "Four Elements" owned by Ronnie and another family restaurant 2 blocks away owned by Miguel.
Corner shop/supermarket is within 10 minute walk or if you rent a car there is Aldi or Lidl about 5 minutes drive
