After10of us drove 8 hours from KC to Dallas for Thanksgiving,we arrived at this home advertised to sleep11only to be met with multiple issues.First and most shocking: there was no running water .After contacting Vrbo (because the host would not respond),we had to wait 4 hours for the water department to come out and turn it on. Once insideNo trash bag in trash can or trash bags on the property. Dirty kitchen blinds broken kitchen stools (a real safety issue in our opinion-no warnings just setting there like they were safe to use. They were not. No bolts/screws joining the seat to the stand)One of the beds was broken (back bedroom-slats broken foot of bed much lower than head)Sheets and blankets were soiled from previous guests.Not enough bath towels. No bath mats.The washing machine leaked when I tried to wash the bedding (also no laundry detergent)We were already a party of 11in an unfamiliar state the day before Thanksgiving, so we had no choice but to try and make the best of it. But the issues continued.After just five of us took showers, we ran out of hot water entirely.The host ignored all of my Vrbo messages, but then called my personal phone on Thanksgiving Day to apologize.He asked if we wanted to leave which was unreasonable. It was Thanksgiving,with11people. Where exactly were we supposed to He then said he would issue a refund for the inconvenience.To this day he has not followed through on his offer.I would not recommend this property to anyone.
