Stunning Ocean View at Kapalua Bay Villas

Kapalua translates to "arms embracing the sea" in Hawaiian. Enjoy one of the most special places on Maui at this 1-bedroom 1-bath Kapalua Bay Villa. Enjoy expansive views & the fresh island breeze from this second level unit with large bay windows & two patios. At the tranquil Kapalua Bay you'll find a sandy beach with incredible snorkeling. Just steps away is the spectacular Oneloa Beach. Many other incredible beaches, sites, activities & restaurants are all within walking distance.

The large living room features a sectional with a comfortable queen sleeper, coffee table, two recliners, a newly built-in entertainment center with plenty of storage, premium sound system, a large HD flat panel TV with cable and high-speed wireless internet. The living room is spacious enough to additionally accommodate one twin inflatable mattress if needed.

The primary bedroom is a peaceful luxurious retreat with a California King bed with a Tempurpedic Liberty mattress, a solid wood/ratan bedroom set, and a private patio on the side. The newly remodeled bathroom has a double-vanity, a large walk-in shower, and a primary closet.

A full kitchen that has clean, modern appliances.

The condo is stocked with everything you need for a great vacation, including lots of storage space, a cooler, two beach chairs, and beach towels.

Kapalua Bay Villas is an upscale gated community surrounded by hiking trails, a stroll away from Kapalua Bay Beach and the Montage Resort. One of the 3 property swimming pools and BBQ areas is steps away from the condo. Kapalua area in West Maui offers championship golf courses, fine dining, walking and hiking paths, shopping, tennis, fitness center and spa (located at the Montage Resort and the Ritz Carlton Resort), nearby zip-lining, and several bays and beaches great for snorkeling, surfing, exploring and relaxation.

Great views! We saw rainbows over the ocean every day. We loved being able to open up windows on both sides of the condo for a nice breeze. The place was clean and the bathroom was really nice. Very short walk to the beach and the complex was easy to get in and out of.

The villa was exactly as described. Stunning ocean views. We were visiting for a wedding at the Montage, this property was close enough to walk to Montage property. Easy walk to the ocean. Owner was responsive to questions, would definitely recommend this villa!

We really enjoyed our time in Maui. The condo was in great condition with no issues. The location was super close to the great Nāpili beach, Merriman’s, the Sea House, the Burger Bar at the Ritz Carlton, and of course the Gazebo. The hiking trails all around were great. The beach chairs were perfect for use at Nāpili beach. The host communicated through out the booking and was ready to help in all manners.

Beautiful Views and Great Location

This property in Kapalua was amazing. Views are great right when you walk in the door. Unit was layed out so nice and very clean. You have everything you need. Owners were very accommodating and checked in throughout they stay. I would definitely go back and stay again.

This property was not very clean. Drapes were pinned together with safety pin in bedroom. Dirty drapes and did not open.Same in dining area. No good light in bedroom and tv was too small and too far away from bed. It was very hot when we checked in and took a whole day to cool it down.

Fantastic view walk to beaches

We had a wonderful time. The hosts were very responsive. Spacious one bedroom unit with high end appliances, gated community Fantastic ocean view Two wonderful beaches with great snorkelling within 5-10 minute walk ( snorkelling gear provided) Super size comfy bathroom with two sinks Multiple pools and tennis court With 5 minute walk to The Montage with great spa facilities (yoga etc)

Great location and property

My family (husband and two daughters aged 11 and 13) really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect with nearby beaches, pools, walking trails, shops/grocery store and services at the Montage resort (nice poolside bar to watch sunset). The unit was well appointed with necessary kitchen supplies and some beach supplies including some snorkel gear, boogie boards, cooler, chairs, umbrella. Bathroom and bedroom were both very spacious and the girls slept well on the pull out sofa. Only recommendation would be two additional beach towels if four people are scheduled to stay there. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and views in Kapalua

The condo couldn't have been nicer! Mike and Nicole were super responsive to our needs, and we loved the accessibility to the Kapalua Coastal Trail and the rest of the area. The views from the lanai and living room were breathtaking! We had everything we wanted in the immediate area within walking or a short drive (we even walked to the Slack Key show at Napili Kai - a great show if you get a chance to go!). Fantastic unit. Spacious, clean and magnificent views. Mike and Nicole were welcoming and responsive hosts. They reached out upon our arrival to ensure we were satisfied. During the stay there was a challenge with the laundry unit; for which they promptly scheduled a repair technician AND provided a goodwill credit. We are big fans of Kapalua, specifically the Bay Villas and would absolutely look for this unit on a return trip.

Stunning views! Gorgeous property

The views are so incredible! From the kitchen, the living room which has swivel chairs so you can spin around and not miss a thing, and also from the nice sized deck where we spent most of our time relaxing and whale watching. The grounds are well manicured with beautiful and lush tropical foliage. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Having a private beach for the residents is nice so it wasn’t overcrowded, we saw a large turtle.. There was a strong undertow so be careful with kids. The condo is set up nicely to enjoy the beach, two large beach umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, and ice chest. Nice large kitchen and bathroom. The location is close to lots of restaurants and a short drive to downtown Lahaina where boating activities take off from. Mike, the host, wants his guests to have fun and enjoy the area and will help guide you to different activities. When we come back we would definitely try and stay in this condo again!

Don has lived on the island of Maui since 1985. He started his helicopter business - Windward Aviation - on Maui in 1990 and continues to run the company. He considers Hawaii one of the most beautiful places on the planet. He calls Kapalua home and one of his favorite beaches in the world is Oneloa, which is viewable from the villa and only a short walk away. On his days off he swims from the beginning of Oneloa beach all the way to the lava rocks and back. After that he goes surfing or wing foiling. Maui No Ka Oi!
