An extensive private hiking and biking trail is the perfect way to experience the beautiful forest surrounding the home. Serene forest bathing or exhilarating mountain biking, the choice is yours. (Bring your own bike). A huge wraparound deck with a large covered area is perfect for doing yoga, enjoying meals with loved ones, and reading a book in an Amish rocker or a swinging chair.

High-speed Wifi allows you to stay connected, and stream your favorite shows (bring your device to connect to TV with provided cables). The serenity of the location is ideal for working remotely without distraction for extended periods. Discounts are available for any stay over five days.

A walk of less than a mile or a short drive bring you to the community’s private access to the river. Wildlife abounds here, including deer, turtles, ducks, geese and other feathered friends. If you are lucky, you may spot a pair of river otters cavorting in the sun. Spend the day taking the tubes for a lazy float down the river, or go for a refreshing swim.

When the sun sets, head down to the Tokyo Lounge for a cocktail. The outdoor lounge is covered from the elements by a ceiling bedecked with spring blossoms and Japanese lanterns casting a romantic glow. As the sky darkens, move over to the large fire pit. Light the night, and tell stories and roast marshmallows.

No need to rough it. Riverwood cradles you in rustic luxury. Think Ernest Hemingway hunting lodge with a fine art twist. Art lovers will appreciate the carefully curated display of Art Nouveau prints, Japanese art, fishing and hunting dĂŠcor, and handmade photo collages made by one of the owners.

The spas of Berkeley Springs are nearby, but you may simply go upstairs to soak in the Jacuzzi spa tub. The massaging jets will work away any tension and the heat lamps will warm you.

If you are feeling playful, the game room awaits with a pool table, and Foosball and air hockey tables. The furry Monkey Bar brings a dose of humor, and the Enchanted Forest theme of the hanging tapestries are the perfect backdrop to all the fun.

A large open kitchen will bring out the Top Chef in you. Make delicious meals for your family or friends. A propane grill on the outdoor deck offers a great view. A wood-burning stove will make fall and winter nights cozy.

The home has three bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king bed with adjustable firmness for each half. A basement bedroom offers a queen bed and one set of bunk beds. The upstairs bedroom is adjacent to the spa bathroom and has two double beds.

An upstairs loft room has a world travel theme with African baskets and gongs from Bhutan. It’s just the place for movie and game nights. A selection of board games and DVDs are provided.
